I see absolutely no difference in the quarterback play that I've seen all year

Manziel's energy says zero about the accuracy&precision with which he goes through his progressions.

His desire to "get something done" leaves INT's like today's even when he should have enough pride to not try to "force" something that isn't needed.

Would love to see a win but at least want to see the team play a strong game against a hot team pushing towards the playoffs

I like his energy and his intangibles but the intangibles need to enhance good NFL QB skills not replace them

  • Seriously some you fuckers needs a reality check. I've never seen a fan base who wants to see a dude fail like some of you guys want Manziel to do. It's pathetic guys he's looked good and it's rubbing off on the energy of the team. That doesn't mean he's the savior or even the guy next year but he's damn sure the dude today.

lol... just reacting to Walter's weekly overreaction. This team had a lot to celebrate today from a lot of contributors. To ascribe it all to JM is laughable.

This D started with energy as they have every week. But for first week in a while they had success generating their own share of momentum.

Want to check the tape, but I think we went to a power run game as our primary this week. Not surprisingly Crow had his best outing. Other than one obvious blow up into JM's lap, I think the Paztor experiment was a success.

JM played OK. I guarantee you he will grade lower than his stats might, or his most ardent fans will, indicate. He had great feet early; but mid-Q2 on he was flat-footed and did not step into throws. He got more indecisive as the game progressed. Best throws were to first reads.

    Go Browns...

Manziel doesn't have any NFL QB skills. He can have as much energy as he likes - as the backup in Dallas.

The hold on Paztor in the red zone stung. The Browns don't have the playmakers for 1st and 20 at the 30

He does throw very well out of the pocket. In a bootleg system he could be effective

If the love is there for Manziel then the Browns need to sign Kaepernik since he is the bigger, stronger more successful version of Manziel. I wouldn't be opposed

Kaepernic wont be in the league in 2 years...he doesnt have it, the drive, poise whatever you call it. Hes more interested in dolce gabanna watches and tats.

Well there's no point in arguing because this is a pretty subjective point. I just find a hard time believing Manziel's energy didn't feed into a lot of what we saw today. The good part we get to see what that means against much better competition the last three weeks of the season.

And on the 14th week of the season. God looked down to his son Football Jesus and said "go forth Johnny Jesus and let your energy be infectious, let tho followers suckle once again at tho's man tap"

Yeah, that link is a month old. How many starts has JFF had? He can't improve?

Expecting him to play like Aaron Rodgers at this point is unrealistic.

Qb play has not been a problem the majority of the year.

The shitty d and our run offense have both stunk.

For the love of god please do not draft a QB.

Not saying Manziel is gonna be the guy, but he could be serviceable for a couple seasons while they get the rest of their shit together. He's played well for two games, and has shown signs of improvement. Still needs to learn when to chuck the ball out of bounds

That play where he made 5 guys miss was priceless

As opposed to the guy drinking less than 6 months out of rehab?

And that's fine, jrb... I just saw a lot of sources of energy. I do have to say, however, that any JM energy was left on the field. He was deadly dull and subdued in his presser for a winning QB.

Totally agree on next week starting a real test.
