please don't tell me johnny's got a tramp stamp.
The only thing I know he has for sure is that little yellow wristband for a child he met in a children's hospital long before he was known as Johnny Football. He has befriended that little boy and always wears that item. You can see it in that picture with her at the baseball game or on his wrist in every game he plays. After they won a big home game one year at A&M he went up in the stands and carried that boy down to the end zone so he could be part of the celebration.

Good link there......!!
Takes me back a month to the thread that had Chris Mortensen saying the Browns are 90% done with Johnny.....and people freaking out(as usual), while so many others were saying "he's just speculating".....
Now, here is Pettine saying flat out that he doesnt know where he came up with this stuff, but it wasn't the Browns.......

it truly is hilarious what passes for reporting and news in the world of sports. probably understandable for the mere fact that professional football has no real effect on our lives, but some of us take the demand for truth and transparency so damn seriously!
I sometimes embarrass myself looking forward to reading all these stories fully realizing that probably 99% is just bullshit some guy made up in a beer joint.

ha!......personally I like "real" reporting and kinda hate all the speculative stuff....To me, it's like the boy who cried wolf, where I dont believe anything some of them say, because they get it wrong so often.....
But, the thing that is really aggravating is how many people just instantly believe anything they read and get all twisted up about things that aren't even true.....happens here almost everyday......

-
well we live in the age now where 'to get the story first' is more important than getting the story right.
blame twatter.

Amen!
I can't believe how often writers are quoted who have proven themselves to have zero credibility.....can we say Mary Kay?

And if you don't have a story throw something out there that grabs attention and sells more advertising. You can always say your source had been great in the past but just missed this one item.
It's also funny how many who have an ax to grind use these stories to reinforce their own bias and then never own up to realizing it was based on bullshit. Many reside right here believe it or not. LOL!

Reminds me of that Aggie joke about the Ag that died and went to hell. One searing morning the Devil saw him sitting in the corner with a grin on his face. When the Devil asked what he was grinning about he said he could tell by the weather that it was the start of summer in Texas and that Aggie football was just around the corner. So the Devil turned up the heat to "overdone" and looked again at his newest resident who had a huge smile on his face now. So again he asked why he was smiling so much and the Ag replied that he could tell by the heat that it was late August in Texas and the first game of the season was likely underway. This really pissed the Devil off so he went over and turned it all the way down to absolute zero and again looked over at his now blueish newcomer who had a big smile frozen in place. So the Devil ran over once again and said, "Now what!!??" The Ag just chattered his answer back through his teeth, "With the temperature here so low now this can only mean one thing. My Aggies finally won the National Football Championship!!"

Time to reiterate my 3-way?
Browns to TB (or TN): #12 and #19
Philly to Browns: Cox (DT) and Foles
Philly to TB (or TN): #12, #19 and #20
TB (or TN) to Philly: #1 (or #2)
"More likely" to occur with TN at the #2 slot assuming TB takes Jameis #1 overall, then:
- TN rides with Mettenberger and has three top 20 picks to fill needs in a draft deep in OL, DL and WR.
- Chip gets his guy.
- We get an elite, proven at the Pro level, DT and a QB awaiting confirmation of his franchise promise.
Browns to TB (or TN): #12 and #19
Philly to Browns: Cox (DT) and Foles
Philly to TB (or TN): #12, #19 and #20
TB (or TN) to Philly: #1 (or #2)
Rumor has surfaced that Chip may package Cox/ players/ picks to get Titans' #2 if MM is still there. Has us kicking in our #19 to get Bradford.

I liked my deal better...

I'm taking a break from football if they trade a first second or third rounder for that baby back bitch

I knew it. He is going to be great.

. . . Thomas quipped that Manziel, recently released from treatment, now spends his Saturdays studying the playbook and watching film instead of riding "a swan in a swimming pool drinking champagne," saying: "It's apparent he's realized how important football is to him. He's realized you can't get away with those things anymore." . . .

.
. . .
Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden told Kremer that Manziel has been a workhorse around the facility, staying four hours later than some players to meet with coaches and study the new offense.
"He has the it-factor. He has what you can't teach," said Haden, adding: "Actions speaking louder than words. He's putting forth those actions. That's all he can do."
Nice, to hear, but we've been down this road before.
Show me the Money !

First thing I did in my Madden game was trade him for a 7th round pick
-
Have that feeling they will roll with Johnny this year
-
You fucking Sucker. LOL

I really really do hope Manziel pans out to be a pro bowler. All it means is not wasting another pick on a QB.
