Cuts and Pickups Thread

do also..we cut the new back-up center Neary, so maybe Corbett slides to back-up Center, Joel back to LG & they roll with Harrison at LT?
Me thinks you are on to something.
Robinson is the Swing tackle, he'll back up both sides
Watford is a Guard/Tackle, never played center.
So ... grooming Corbett to back up C/G
If Corbett was starting at G, your backup would be two Tackles and a G/T who has never played center ...
I'm getting the feeling Harrison is our LT.

agree Z, am jonesing for the lost episode of hard knocks where Neary sits in Wylie's OL room for his 1 day and says to himself "yep i can afford & play back in LA's PS"
That was LA's plan when they released him..Wylie has some work to do with Corbett & my first scare was Myock & all of them projecting he could play all OL positions..Well were almost there..I see M.Schwartz/J.Greco if the kid is coached right & grows into some body mass..

So what does this guy give us that we didn't have yesterday?
-
Wasn't he an undersized DT at Penn St.? Could give some position flexibility.

Not impressed

I knew we'd have a white guy from Penn St. At DE on the final roster.

The team needs a financial advisor adept at saying the word "f u c k" and dating overrated pop stars.

Nassib & Orchard were really good at being blocked. Meader was a decent backup who's claim to fame came on special teams. Brantley......it's possible that we didn't give him enough time to prove himself. We played Detroit. I assume that Doresy liked what he saw from this guy.

Fax might have gotten lost .

You mean "IHOB"?
Here is what would piss me off the most on Cam Erving. If that SOB turns into one of the best LT's in the NFL and our OL continues to get QB's sacked regularly, then I will know that the real solution was to send Coach "Maserati" on a long drive elsewhere. So far I have been somewhat underwhelmed.

You've got the word "if" doing a lot of heavy lifting there.. "Barely Average" is more accurate

They are certainly paying him now like a very big IF. Over $15mil for the next two years with almost $6.5mil guaranteed. And the other poster is correct, he is now an OG.

Yup... you can't teach athleticism or technique to a bag of rocks.
