  • What concerns me more than anything is how Harrison isn't progressing week to week. You'd like to see him getting better, and that's not what is happening.

  • Has to be the worst LT in the NFL

Absolutely baffling why Bitonio played LT pre season and it was changed before the opener. Hubbard isn’t much better on the other side either.

Just put the #33 pick in at LG and get him NFL game reps. It can’t be any worse.

this guy is the equivalent of lt shelton.....remember him...probably the worse rt ever to play in the nfl....only this is worse because it is bakers blind side.....look out baker, here comes another steamroller to cream ya....

Potential? He’s 25 he’s not going to get a huge lot of better

Regardless of his age, this is his rookie year.

Look, he had a bad game today and he's probably got some mistakes you can remember every week. That said, he's also played some good football for us.  He needs to pack on some strength in the off season and continue to work on his fundamentals which will take more than 8 weeks.  Film study will also be a huge factor in his development.  I don't see this as impossible.

Look, they were getting pressure on Baker all day, from almost everywhere. If you want to kill him for the holding in the end zone, be my guest. The line was getting overpowered after the first drive.

the ol got blasted...and we have veterans in there....all of them got blasted.....

  • The best thing about all of this is the use of Pete Smith's Twitter... He's a hack local JV coach who fancies himself as some kind of draft guru. I knew him for years on the message board mjp and I were from, spent at least 5 or so drafts with him, and just shook my head at some of the absolutely idiotic opinions he had that he would never change. Guy loved Barkevious Mingo more than PoG loves Barkley and Hogan combined, and argued for years about the genius of Eric Mangini and his GM moves. When Joe Banner got fired he acted like a petulant child for years after, his dream of a nerd with no football experience somehow getting to the top of a NFL team was crushed with his firing...

Why does this guy even matter and why mention him?

For some reason LondonBridge loves to quote him, like his opinion should carry weight here.

Trust me, I know this guy. It shouldn't.

    Fair enough!

  • That’s not an opinion by PS, it’s a fact based quote regarding a contract. And one I was glad to see because Hubbard is terrible.

  • Move him to the defense !!

Short thread on Browns LT Desmond Harrison, who looked unplayable Sunday. Tough spot for him as a UDFA rookie replacing Joe Thomas but he spent the entire day just tackling people. Nearly took Sensabaugh's head off.

Indeed, call it the Kizer syndrome. Harrison had some decent games weeks 2-5 or so, but has looked objectively bad the last three weeks. Hard to think now that the film is out there a bit he's getting clobbered. We'll see though, don't have much else to do but let him play it out a bit.

Maybe once Mr. Maserati is replaced as OL coach we will see some improvement. So far I have been totally underwhelmed by the OL coaching.

The OL coaching, or OL performance?

Do you actually see what goes down in practice?

We don't have much choice now but to let it play out. Keep an extra blocking TE in the game, move Baker around.

These our signs when your OL coach teaches with pictures of Rhinos having great balance stances & too fat to school technique..The next hire Dorsey should make is going after Joe Thomas to replace Wylie as OL coach. We need college prospects taught NFL OL techniques..If or when a coaching decision is made, who is going to complain about JT being his OL coach? Also, Alex Mack has proven calling line protection matter..If Tretter has that responsible? Finding his replacement maybe a good idea..

Indeed, or do what I pray to God they realize and put Baker in more boot leg situations. I legit can't think of one time the past month Baker has had designed roll out plays.

If it makes you feel any better, Williams specifically said they worked on protections today in his presser. Said it's a team thing, doesn't fall on just one guy.

Look up above to what gumby said. There is your answer. Like I said I am totally unimpressed with Mr. Maserati.

And you don’t like his choice of vehicle too, apparently?

Not sure if he would fit into a Lamborghini.  🙂  I did see my very first Bentley a couple of weeks ago...   Maybe a Rolls would be more his style...
