Not included in the movie 'Goodfellas' was Henry Hill's involvement in a NCAA basketball point-shaving scandal with members of the Pittsburgh mob. One of the Boston College players who helped shave points was roommates with Mike Mayock.
Beyond that, this was a goofy move. Mayock is a figurehead, Gruden is calling all the shots.
