Ask Andrew Luck.  Nelson always seemed like a lock and completely changed the identity of the Colts offense and really the whole team.  Ward is talented but won't impact the D like Nelson has upgraded the Colts offense.  Baker would trade Ward for Nelson all day.  And Ward is a stud.

Baker would trade a shutdown corner for a fuking guard?

Whilst having 2 top 10 guards on the line?

Geez..... with only Joel and Kevin in there at guard I can’t believe Dorsey wasn’t thinking the same thing

Regarding the bold, no he wouldn't. And Dorsey wouldn't either....

Sure, Nelson was so good he was in the conversation for OROTY.  BUT- as others pointed out- Bitonio made the Pro Bowl (admittedly as an alternate), and Zeitler is pretty damn good.  You're going to draft or trade for Nelson to put a Pro Bowler on the bench? The Browns are set at guard. Think about that one before you post.

BTW- the Colts wouldn't trade us Darius Leonard for Ward, since we're dealing in fantasy...

The interior was critical to this teams success. Being stout in the middle allowed 6 to step up and create while the edges got pushed wide. Lotta money at those positions, but needed.

Keep in mind, ST has given us such classics like ...

    - "Josh Rosen has the weakest looking shoulders I've ever seen"

    - Wants Earl Thomas, even after a massive leg injury.

    - Called Khalil Mack a "patty cake" lineman

    - Said we should take 2 QB's in the draft to send a message to Tyrod "Tarkenton"

MF might not be Ghoolie, but he ain't far off.   Just place on that little ignore list.
