Braxton Miller

head scratcher...

Hopefully we'll get to see a lot of Braxton usage Friday. See what the plan is
-
If ( by some small miracle) he makes the final cut, I wouldn't rule out him being rostered as a RB.
-
I was curious to see what he has done in his couple of years in the league...so here are his stats:
Receiving & Rushing
- * Selected to Pro Bowl, + First-Team All-Pro

And a minor actor in the DATs passing game.
So...yeah, he has a lot to prove in these two preseason games and the practices if he is going to be a member of the Cleveland Browns.

I can see us keeping him as a possession wide out but then again who really knows. I am sure we will keep Higgins and Callaway we have not had a wr core like this ever. Maybe keep him until Callaway is off his 4 game suspension?

Yup- Gip- I had already looked up those stats... Why I posted he's an extreme long shot to make the team...... I suppose we can root for him to make it because he's an Ohio guy (OSU) and not only that, local to Dayton- Wayne HS.

Just speculating here but how much of a reach would it be for him to go on the other side of the line. Say safety or CB? He’s a helluva good athlete.

as a buckeye he had shoulder concerns.. twice..Nfl it's been concussions..more than twice..maybe not a good combination when asked to tackle..knowing Braxton's past mindset..he'd be game with it though

What'd he do bitch about the new Messiah not being a very good long ball passer??
I think he's been injured his entire NFL career. He's never on the field

An incredibly huge reach

Definitely can't play db. He is not a bad guy to have on the end of your 53 man roster with his versatility on the offensive side of the ball. He can be your backup slot receiver, your punt/kick returner, your emergency qb, and an emergency 3rd down receiving back. Right now he is a very poor mans antawn Randle el. Although he may turn into that type of player if he can stay healthy and on a roster.

Think we keep 6..Landry/OBJ/Higgins/Strong/Willies/ #6.???? Who's left..Callaway suspended 4, loses spot till week 5.. DJ Montgomery IR, loses spot till week 8.. Ratley/Hyman/Sheehy/Miller/Baker---one spot left?//2 preseason games left to earn the spot.. ST'er may seal the deal..It's a good watch

He is more brittle than RG3.. He isn't a QB any more because his shoulder is not stable enough for the throwing motion -- his final attempt at playing QB at OSU ended when he threw a pass and his shoulder went out of socket.
Electric in the open field but not competitive enough at ST to fill the role of a #5,6 WR..

Probably true. As good and versatile as he was in college it shows you how hard it is to make a roster spot in the brutal NFL.

oooooooo, seriously? Fuck that sounds like it sucks. Like super bigly suck. I wonder if his teammaters made jokes about him being Dhalsim from street fighter.
