  • Here are the major postseason awards that the NFL, and its sponors bestow.    Make some predictions on whom you thing will earn these awards:

    Most Valuable Player

    Rookie of the Year

    Offensive Player of the Year  

    Defensive Player of the Year

    Offensive Rookie of the Year

    Defensive Rookie of the Year

    Built Ford tough Offensive Lineman of the Year

    Deacon Jones  Defensive Lineman of the Year

    Comeback Player of the Year

    Coach of the Year

    Asst. Coach of the Year  (OC/DC?)

    Bridgestone  Clutch Play of the Year   (one single outstanding play)

    Courtyard by Marriott  Unstoppable Performance of the Year   (performance in a single game)

    There are a couple of others that involve things like humanitarianism etc....but I won't ask about those.

    Give your guesses/opinions on these.

    Most Valuable Player.....hate to say it:  Lambatamy Jackson, Ravens

    Rookie of the Year......Nick Bosa,  49ers (here note:  some awards seem redundant)

    Offensive Player of the Year    Jackson

    Defensive Player of the Year  Cameron Jordan....or is it Jordan Cameron.  Saints.

    Offensive Rookie of the Year  Josh Jacobs Raiders

    Defensive Rookie of the Year  Nick Bosa  49ers

    Built Ford tough Offensive Lineman of the Year    Quenton Nelson, Colts

    Deacon Jones  Defensive Lineman of the Year...Aaron Donald, Rams

    Comeback Player of the Year  Earl Thomas  Ravens.

    Coach of the Year....John Harbaugh  Ravens  

    Asst. Coach of the Year  (OC/DC?)  Robert Saleh.   DC  49ers

    Bridgestone  Clutch Play of the Year   (one single outstanding play)  TBD....I think THE big play of the year is yet to come in one of these divisional showdown games.....Titan?Texans;   Cowboys/Eagles;   Bills/Pats.

    Courtyard by Marriott  Unstoppable Performance of the Year   (performance in a single game)  Drew Brees....this past Monday night football game vs. Colts......29/30 with  4 TDs.

  • By the way......maybe we can bang the drums on Robert Saleh being a possible Browns HC candidate?    If, of course, the Browns make the move.

    cowgirls season is not yet over.....if they lose sunday, i'd say 2 way tie......definetly the clowns and also the cowboys...
