I just have this feeling that Tua may not actually be any better than Greg McElroy or AJ McCarron were coming out of Alabama. But, who knows.
But even if you think he is the next best thing to Richard Todd coming out of Bama, another problem is, right now, it seems that teams are not going to be able to do physical exams.....so the big question marks on him physically may continue to be unanswered. For which I could see him dropping. just speculation.

Tua was good enough to send Hurts packing to OU. So he is good enough if fully recovered.

Had Tua stayed healthy... or at least been injured less severely... it'd be a really interesting draft discussion.
Still have to give the nod to Joe, but looking back at some Tua tape reminded me of just how good he is.
He ain't no McCarron... and I liked McCarron.

Apparently the Bears have traded for Nick Foles to push or replace Trubisky:

Holy restructuring, Batman!
JAX pulled off a miracle... Bears? Dunno what they're thinking...
Love this tweet...
The #Jaguars clear $3.375M of cap space by trading Nick Foles to the #Bears. But also clear $21M of soon to be guaranteed cash. It's incredible that they got out of this contract without having to send a draft pick along with it.— Spotrac (@spotrac) March 18, 2020
lol... da Bears shoulda called Sashi...

So....What teams are currently in the market for a QB:
1. LA Chargers. Seemed like a natural spot for Brady....that circus left town
2. New England. Now without an experiences starter. Some say that they may trade for Brisset to come back. (skeptical)
3. Miami. though they have both Fitzpatrick and Rosen.
4. Bengals. Likely to draft Burrows (hoorta gets my bottle of cheap rot gut wine if they do
5. Denver. Or are they locked in on Lock?
6. Chicago. Rumors are the Bears want someone to push...or replace TrubiskyBut now, is it fair to say that the Jags now replace Chicago on this list.....or are they all in on Gardner Minshew?
And are some of you are saying that Denver is in fact all in on Drew Lock?
Still, with the Bangles going for Burrow, that leaves 3 teams needing a QB....though, as noted, Miami has 2 of them.
Chargers in particular have made no move. Unless you think they are all in on Tyrod Taylor.

Jags...
Minshew is popular enough with the fans that the Jags can ride him for better part of another season before the novelty wears off if he faceplants. Buys the franchise time...
Josh Dobbs is the backup as of now.
By a miracle they actually have a little room to sign a 2nd tier QB. Trevor Siemian is one name that caught my eye. Played decent ball in his first starting season in Denver, but couldn't replicate it... so could be he's just another backup ala Foles who can perform if needed for short runs.
And they'll draft a QB... just looked and they have two 1sts as well... 1.09 and 1.20. They got the latter from the Rams in the Ramsey trade. So they can compete for one of the top four QBs in the draft not named Burrows, if they choose to do so. Otherwise they can nab a prospect on Day 2.

Flacco Waived
So Lock's a lock...
Flacco... hmmmm.... won a SB being asked by RayRay and his D to do little but hand the ball off and not fuck up.
Guy named Bill B might be interested in that kind of capability in the short-term ... even might see him as Testaverde V2.0.
Still like Hurts and my Raven-copy hypothesis better, but a leashed Flacco just means the QB is not part of the running attack. Then can go WildDawg with the rookie and work him gradually to be the full-time starter.

I think LAC is fine with riding TT for a season while the QB they draft learns for a year.
Sound familiar?
Works for any of the 3 QBs they'll have a shot at in this Draft class.

Or....are they going to be Tanking for Trevor?
I don't really think so....their defense should be too good for that.
But they have lost Rivers, and are losing Gordon. They seem light on offensive skill players.

Now..they could be in the Tank for Trevor mode.
