Yeah- it is sort of funny.  And due to inflation, the penny has long outlived it's usefulness... It's true- even using copper clad (not pure copper) it costs more now to make a penny than what they're worth- time to let them go....  I'm old enough to remember Woolworth's "Five (cents) and Dime"..  What can you get for a dime anymore? It's now "Dollar General" or 5 (bucks) Below.....  

Can I start a movement? What this country really needs is a dollar coin that people will actually use.    Bureau of Printing and Engraving is wasting a ton of money printing dollar bills that wear out a lot faster.....  Lincoln? George, you're next....
