Browns vs. Ravens Data Points
-
Here are some data/information points on the Browns vs. Ravens:
1. Head to head record is 11-32....Ravens lead.
2. The Browns and Ravens have never shared a Head Coach, but, of course we have shared an owner in Arthur...let's piss on his grave again like we did last summer Modell. And their long time GM, Ozzie Newsome is a Browns Hall of Famer
3. Vinny Testaverde who led that team in passing 2 years also played for the Browns ("move" remnant)
4. Two players who led the Rats in rushing for at least one year also played for the Browns: Terence West, and Jamal Lewis
5. Two players who led the Ravens in receiving also played for the Browns: Derrick Alexander, and Michael "hee hee" Jackson. (move remnants)
6. The following players who made the Pro Bowl for the Ravens also played for the Browns: Matt Stover, Eric Turner, Vinny Testaverde (all 3 move remnants) plus Willis McGahee and Jamal Lewis
7. The following Ravens first round picks also played for the Browns: Jamal Lewis, and Breshad Perriman
8. This football team is NOT the first team in that city to be called the Ravens. The Baltimore team in the NWBA....the National Wheelchair Basketball Association were also the Ravens before these Ratfuckers arrived.
9. The Ravens Uniforms were patterned after the uniforms worn by the Northwestern Wildcats.
10. A bit of lengthy history here: After Baltimore lost the Colts, they came in the running for the two 1995 expansion teams, but as you know they were rejected. The rumored reason....and by all accounts it is an accurate rumor, is that despite being a favorite to get one of those teams, the owner of the Washington Redskins, Jack Kent Cooke stepped in and cajoled Paul Tagliabue to reject Baltimore because he wanted that territory for himself and his team for marketing purposes....particularly since the Redskins were building a new stadium in suburban Maryland. So they did not get an expansion team then. Also...before Georgia Frontiere moved the Rams to St. Louis, she essentially agreed to move them to Baltimore, but again, Cooke and Tags quashed that effort. So they went to St.L. And then a third attempt was made....this time to move the Tampa Bay Bucs to Baltimore, but that deal also fell through for possibly the same reason. Finally, of course, the city of Baltimore found the inept and insolvent Art Modell to try to move his team there...and you know the rest. So, maybe besides Modell...another villain in that saga is Jack Kent Cooke...who really did fuck Baltimore over, with Tags help.
11. Had Baltimore been successful in getting one of those two 1995 expansion franchises.....they were going to be named the Baltimore Bombers.
12. The Ravens have never had a player wear the number 19. They have refused to issue that number, but it is not technically retired. But, it was the number of Johnny Unitas, who, of course, played for the Baltimore Colts for so long...and the Ravens are honoring him by not issuing that number.

#4 I think you are missing Errict Rhett and Willis McGahee.

Yep. I think I just overlooked McGahee there, but got him in at #6.
And when looking at the list, I guess I just didn't realize or remember that Rhett played for the Browns (in checking, he only played in 5 games in 2000.
