Giants need to improve their OL; ushering the declining Zeitler out the door was part of that. They drafted Thomas and Peart last season for OT and extended last season's starting C. Note that Peart had a 69 rating last season.

Another overrated Alabama player... ?
It was a tough decision between the two, honestly, and could have gone either way. I chose Nixon because IMO he offers a little more in the "shooting the gaps and getting pressure" department than Barmore, who is more of the traditional clog up the middle DTackle.

And the Boys need the latter kind who can also pressure the QB by bulling the OL into the QB or the RB.
