Why the trade attempt in was a bad idea

Regardless of a lot of other things regardless of whether or not we hate or love baker this is probably a terrible idea from the get-go. Unless somebody and some front office is just stupid it should have been clear that Watson didn't want to come up here. By pursuing him knowing that they were 99% sure of being rejected as opened up a big can of stink for the team on many levels.
Kind of like dumping here wife so you can pursue a relationship with Jennifer Aniston, knowing there's not a chance in hell she would go for it.

All that it tells me, is that the Browns have decided to move away from Baker and even though the Deshaun acquisition failed, Baker will not be under center for the Browns again.
^ Now, if he is under center as the starting Browns QB, then I'll agree 100%, but I don't personally think that there's a snow ball's chance in hell of that happening.

As for suspended, has something changed and he's been arrested? If not, and he's still 'just' accused, then you need to have a quick reread of our constitution...

While Hunt was never charged with a crime, we all saw the video tape and that is the major difference for me. I still don't know why he wasn't charged based on what I saw, because it sure didn't look like self defense to me.
At the end of the day the law says he's innocent, but my lying eyes tell me something different.
