..........  back to the original thought about packaged shredded cheeses,  particularly mild  regular  or better yet  sharp cheddar.

My wife occasionally uses packaged mild  -or-   regular cheddar for toppings for cooking, salads or similar foods. 

What brought it to mind was we're having tacos for lunch today.    Cinco de Mayo day !
