Well that's a surprise. Watson needs to stay healthy! 

I liked Dobbs but he's not great. DTR has a lot of upside, but needs to learn. Mond, I just don't see it.

Browns have a 2024 Panthers 5th round pick after trading 1st round pick Baker Mayfield

Browns trade a two time FA QB Josh Dobbs to the Cardinals for another 2024 5th round pick while only losing a 7th round pick

I'll check back, to see if any of this is still real after my 3rd beer ! ? Cheers !

Getting a free 5th and saving $2M against the cap is good business..

So they traded Dobbs to move up from the 7th round to the 5th next year.  That's good if we were planning to cut him anyway.

I wouldn't be so quick to install DTR as #2 over Mond though.  I'm not sure that's a given.  (he is a rookie after all)

Turns out he never was released.  Obviously the Dodds deal started to develop and the team held back the paperwork.

There will be 3 active QB every game. The 3rd can’t play unless the first 2 are hurt though. 
There won’t be an inactive QB unless a team carries 4 QB

4. Former Browns QB coach Drew Petzing is now Arizona’s offensive coordinator. He liked Dobbs last year. For a fifth-round pick, why not bring in Dobbs and let him battle McCoy and Tune?
