Having the best players helps. But in the memorable words of Bum Philips regarding Don Shula... "First, he'll take his 'uns- and beat your 'uns... Then he'll take your 'uns and beat his 'uns."
Even though he's a certain first ballot HOFer, doesn't sound like Bill is retired from coaching yet. FWIW, He needs 17 more wins to pass George Halas, and 27 more to pass Don Shula to top the all-time list.
