Where in Florida do you live Flugs?

If you look on the map we're in the New Port Richey/Port Richey/Hudson area. We're about 2.7 miles inland from the Gulf Coast; and consequently zones A, B and C became mandatory evacuation zones.

Oh man, you are right in the crosshairs… my grandfather lived in Lakeland.

The thing is, cap wise I have a feeling a first round QB might be around what the Browns pay Winston this year. Even with Watson on the roster next season, the Browns could draft their future starter. We would just have a really, really expensive backup. ?

Ok, Lakeland is about halfway between us and Orlando/Disney World.  When my friend was a Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Detroit Tigers - we visited him there during their Spring Training. It's a nice area...

Did you ever get to visit your grandfather there?

No, never did. He passed away in 2005. He also was the first generation Browns fan in my family. Damn him. ?

Glad you got out early Tom. Roads out are jammed and gas is running out. Many will be stuck in cars for this one.

Thanks Aggies!  When I got out of work Monday evening, the major highway looked like a parking lot.  We did some last minute house protection, took a short nap and left at 2AM; and we we didn't have any slow-downs or stoppages until we were 2 hours into it.  Even those were minimal.  We already had our gas tank full and ready to go thanks to advice from @axe

Regarding damn him ?...  I know the feeling...  That said, I wouldn't change any of it except my expectations at certain times...

I get it. Son and grandson of Aggies with no NC since my dad was a freshman in 1939. Grandmother was a teasip and I have an advanced degree from UT-Austin. I could claim several with those credentials including the last in 2005. And even though I had my degree by then, I could not release my "inner longhorn" to claim it. LOL!

My friend lives in Nocomis barely N of Venice and her house damn near flooded last time. This time it's going under by 4-8nft. most likely. Glad she went to a friend's in far east Sarasota up above 35' from norm.

Of course I would have to have a typo using "would" instead of "wouldn't" in the most important part. The good thing is you're used to me doing stuff like that so you trained yourself not to see it or see it understanding of the knucklehead that typed it.  Thank you for either Mr MeAggies!!!!

If any intriguing junior QBs contemplating coming out see that it's Cleveland drafting 1st they're better off going back to college for the senior year.

    And worst of all...

Now we're going to go back to "Nobody wants to play in Cleveland" or "...for Jimmy Haslam."

I think we're already there - everybody playing Offensive Tackle sure looks like they don't want to be playing in Cleveland.

D'Onta Foreman is supposed to be a physical back?  We've seen countless impressive physical RBs here and he isn't one of them.  I can't get the impression of him a couple weeks ago - immediately after the handoff with a running start at a LB that he outweighed plugging the hole near the goal line that delivered a great stick and drove his ass straight backward.

Well Tyler Warren, TE Penn St., was really impressive today against USC. Just a name to keep in mind during the draft at some point. Very athletic guy who gets moved all over the field, though TE seems to be his destination in the NFL.

We just got power back here in Bradenton. We bugged out weds about 1:00pm. 75N was relatively clear all the way to Lake City. Rained like hell tho. The eye passed directly over both of our houses and my daughter's as well. Our new house came thru fine, just a lot of limbs down None hit the house.. The other house has moderate damage. I've spent the last couple days doing a lot of the repairs. What a week!

My friend lives in Nokomis just across from Venice, which showed water a foot or so deep in houses. Hers got water in it, but not enough to get under the walls into the dry wall. She spent a few hours moping that up. She also got a "free" freezer in her front yard. Verified it had no bodies in it.? She was very lucky since they were calling for it to go under by several feet. Still with so much damage to that whole area, her property values had to drop precipitously. She had already been thinking of selling it. Two others she owned she had already sold fortunately. All those barrier islands from Siesta Key fronting Sarasota on down well past Nokomis, Venice and Ft. Myers look devastated with destroyed houses and piled up sand/debris everywhere. Youtube has lots of drone videos showing how extensive it was.

Rumors that this upcoming QB draft class being mediocre seem to have a lot of validity.
