"Guess Whose Coming To Dinner"... Good flick... Spencer Tracy was in it too...... And I think he did "Kenner" also... Another movie from the early 70's

My Bad... "Kenner" was with Jim Brown and Madylin Rhue.. I was thinking of "To Sir With Love"... I remember the movie and the song well... Lulu sung it... She was a cute lil' shit... The song almost has a Burt Bacharach kind of feel to it... I loved Burt.. His vocal arrangements , chord voicings and compositions were amazing! One of the real geniuses in the music biz... I put him up there with the greats like Leonard Bernstein, Keith Jarrett and Jaco Pastorius.. And Another guy who is a master of chord voicings and intervalic chord structures is a guitarist named Wayne Krantz... He's downright scary intelligent... Not a flash player in terms of technique... but his voicing and chord progressions are right out of science fiction.. I think the only one who would superceed him is Pat Metheny.. But for me... as far as Jazz composition.. Krantz is a heavyweight... He's got a great style that is unique all his own... Wish there were more players like him... Michael Landau and Scott Henderson fall into that class as well.. But they're more blues/jazz flash with a profound rock element.
