Junior Varsity Mock Draft

The Browns Board
39 11 838
  • I will laugh quite out loud if we pass on Sanders and he goes on to become someone else's franchise QB getting to the playoffs yearly. It's just how Browns are with QBs. Why should this year be any different!??

? "Son ah - there ain't no draft no more..."

  • Todd McShay's final mock has the Browns taking Travis Hunter at #2 and Shedeur Sanders falling to them at #33.

Safe to say you'd be hearing a lot about the Browns from now to the start of the season nationally if that happened.

McShay has lost it. He must be hangin' around with ole big mouth Kiper. No way Sanders gets past N.O.

SHhhhh!  Don't say that.  Haslem loves to be in the post draft spotlight.  If he reads that, he'll probably order a trade back into round 1 to get him.  Heck he might trade up to #3 for that kind of spotlight.

I don't know man, he made a pretty convincing argument for Sanders falling...

We'll see starting in about 12 hours!

Did you just use the word "safe" above as a diehard Cleveland Browns fan on draft day?

I'm not saying he's wrong but I'd definitely like to play poker with him.  The guy on the NFL Channel Kyle Brandt found the "un-named source from an un-named team" comments ripping his character, work ethic, passion for the game, horrible teammate, and you name it.  So, Kyle had an entertaining reply defending Sanders.  That said, wanna bet this un-named source is employed by a team that wants Sanders to drop to them?

Here's where I'm at on the Sander's idea at 33 - Like it, hate it, yes please, no thanks, need it, hell no, Run it, Run from it, Gotta have it, The only gotta have here is Left Tackle, Pop the champagne, Extra Strength Prozac please...  All that said or not said, If he falls to the back end of round 1 - DO NOT trade-up to get him.

If he falls past the Steelers at 21 I'll bet Mrs. Wife's car that we trade with the Vikings at 24 and draft him.

? I'm sure she'd appreciate that!  What are you thinking or hearing the Browns would be giving up to make it happen?  Are you going to have a place to watch the draft tonight?

  • If you aren’t willing to take Sanders at 2.  Why risk someone else taking him in the top 10 or Pitt at 21 or another team jumping ahead of Cleveland at 33.

Maybe we aren’t into him that much so why waste a valuable pick on him at 33 or multiple picks trading up for him.

    Pass on him

I've read a time or two where the Vikings might be a natural trade partner as they don't have a lot of picks in the draft and that Stef has a history there.  No specifics or anything could be given as I believe it was hypotheticals by authors.

I would venture a guess that they would want our 2nd rounder and first 3rd round picks.

Well he dropped past N. O. who also needed a QB.
