The Covenant (2023)
-
I bought this dvd at a garage sale - finally watched it the other day. (had to buy a new smaller dvd player that was HDMI for the new bigger screen tv).
Freaking loved it. Very real, very powerful story. I'll watch it again later. The battles with the taliban were amazing. At the end, it mentions that over 300 local interpreters who worked with our American soldiers, after asswipe yanked us out of Afghanistan, were hunted down by the taliban and murdered.....after leaving behind all that valuable equipment, and refusing to give our 13 Soldiers permission to take out a suspected suicide bomber, and our 13 Soldiers were murdered.....
This interpreter was just one of those who were on the run for their life, hiding again and again.
The story is fascinating. I'd give it an "A"
