Carson Schwesinger

What a great kid/guy/rookie/football player!   After getting the only game ball awarded.  -  High ankle sprain weeks ago, on the field the next Sunday.  Thigh injury yesterday, on the bike and back in the game.

Absolutely ! Again, I watch him play, and he reminds me hugely of watching Clay Mathews back in the day. I love to watch the guys who love to play the game !

I've seen and heard others in here mentioning Bush playing well alongside Schwesinger; and I agree with them.  Having said that, I don't know if he'll still be under contract in 2026. That said, if the Browns have already drafted 2 OTs and 1 WR by the end of round 2 - there's a LBer under the radar that plays college football for Texas Tech rumored to go anywhere from round 2 to round 4. He's a lot like former Texas Tech LBer Zach Thomas but 2 inches taller at 6'1". Anyway, here's what his pads earned him - the Butkus Award Winner, Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, Bronko Nagurski Trophy (Defensive Player of the Year), Bednarik Award (Most Outstanding Defensive Player in the Nation), AP 1st Team All American at LBer... etc. This is probably a good time to show this because his team plays Oregon at Noon tomorrow. If you have time - Google him.  It's a good story about a good guy...  Watch how many times he punches the football out of opponents' hands - can you imagine the tandem of him and Schwesinger?
