Browns FA signings

He's better than anyone we've got penciled in.
At this point in time, we'd need a OT & G/C in the draft. Unless they think Jones will man the position all year...which might probably be a mistake.
True. Zion Johnson & Tytus Howard are both 1st round picks/talents added on the OL. Zion can play RG or LG while Tytus can also play either Guard spot or RT. They both show up here with experience (and we only lost a 5th round draft pick for Tytus). Regarding the OL needs, this is making the draft seem a lot more doable. Phew!

Get Lomu or Freeling with the first pick and get a guard in round 2 or 3
I like the Oregon guard Emmanuel Pregnon for the second round pick, if we makes it that far

PFF #9 Devin Bush got 3 years for 30M (AB..Ya should of paid it !)
PFF #59 Alex Anzalone got the same 2 years for 17M to TB
PFF ranked Jets Quincy Williams #154
Williams' three-year extension with the Jets didn't age as desired. Last year, he was responsible for a 45.5 overall PFF grade, with his 35.2 PFF coverage grade the fifth-lowest among qualified linebackers. His missed tackle percentage also increased by 3%, while his run stop rate fell from 8.8% to 7.7%. The 29-year-old has put good tape on display as recently as two years ago, and teams may attempt to recapture that by giving him a flier.
LB Germaine Pratt #97 is still a FA

Love the signing for Quincy as a replacement. He wasn't a fit for Aaron Glenn's scheme. I imagine Rutenberg is the best guy to maximize his talent.

Either of my 2 favorites? Wouldn't that be something?
There's some C/G types I think we can snap up in round 2 like Indiana's Pat Coogan or Iowa's Logan Jones (The Rimington Award Winner as the Nation's best Center). 1 more per cut and paste below:
Keylan Rutledge (OL/iOL)- Position: Interior Offensive Line (Guard/Center)
- Height/Weight: 6'4", 316 lbs (at combine)
- Status: Drafted in the 2026 NFL Draft class after an impressive performance at the NFL Combine.
- Combine Performance: Rutledge stood out as an athletic interior lineman, recording a 4.54-second 20-yard shuttle, the fastest among offensive linemen at the event, and achieving the highest athleticism score (90) among all guards at the 2026 Combine.
-
Draft Stock: Projects as a second to fourth-round selection with potential as a guard or center.
Georgia Tech Athletics +4
Rutledge was a two-time All-ACC selection and a key starter for Georgia Tech's offensive line, known for his physical and aggressive playing style. -

It sucked losing Bush. Here's a LBer (Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year) that could get drafted in round 3 or 4?
Google tells Flugel:

Stefon Diggs is out there. He had 85 catches last year for the Pats. I don't think adding a veteran would hurt that group.

Quincy played under Steve Wilks.

he was the 17th overall pick and can play lg or rg and has only missed 2 games since being drafted, that is what i was looking for as i have never heard of him
Durable, 26 y/o, not a liability. 3yr. 49M for the amount of cash getting thrown around today. This is good. Charger fans seem to be good riddance but they are notoriously not known for their football IQ
not a liability.
Decent run-blocking guards who are wild passpro liabilities can be drafted in the 6th round. Yes, Zion was a first-rounder a few seasons ago, but they declined his rookie option for good reason --- he is abysmal at one of the two things a guard needs to do in the sport of football.
The actual question is how much you're paying for whatever skill a player has... and unfortunately this signing is a bad ROI. If they don't care about passpro, just throw out road-grading rookies, they're always available.

Back to Back.. OL again.. Played Center & Guard

While I don’t disagree with you…I’ll give some grace as you know the offensive line especially pass protection needs to function as one cohesive unit. His partner at left tackle Rashawn Slater was lost for the year in training camp, the next then Joe Alt playing out of position was out halfway through the year and then the chargers ran with Salyer. Maybe this combination had something to do with his low pass blocking win rate?

This allows you to slow play a day 2 of the draft rookie into the role down the road and not this season.

Where on the line did he play?

Center last year - Guard the prior years where he played really well
