@Dutch-Oven - I love the Shrodinger's QB Stuff quote. (Physics, Shrodinger's Cat...both dead and alive at the same time)
How much does anyone want to bet that Manning will be drafted much higher than #24?

@Orion There’s not a chance in hell i would bet against you in that. I should go back since the Browns came back and post every QB drafted in the first 24 picks if all the drafts. We would laugh our asses off at some of the reaches on that list.

Yup. But it's because it's the QB position. If you need a QB, then you're screwed. You can't win. You can't make the playoffs. You just suck. So you have to take some swings for a home run because otherwise you've go no hope at all.

@Orion Some positions that I think we will be focusing on seem pretty well represented too beyond QB… cornerback, defensive end, OLine.

@Dutch-Oven And we need all of those. Hopefully, if we take a QB, we do it with just one 1st round pick and have the other to address one of those needs.

Here's the thing about QB. This century, we're quite well known for the mess we've made of the QB position. There's no way that we can draft a guy named MessMaker.

Well this QB class is shaping up to being one that the top guys might not be the guys we thought they would be prior to the season starting.

I think there will be some QBs available with our first 1st Rounder - I still think the Browns could very well end up being a top 10 overall pick with their pick. In addition to the positions I listed I would add DTackle, but looking at this draft I don't see the Browns taking one with a first, plus I can't see them taking another DTackle that high after doing it with Graham.

Any talk of Sayin being a first rounder is gone - and honestly it never should have been a thing even before his injury today.

Ya know what? After that horrendous Jets game I honestly felt that our season was over. And that our high point for the year was that Thursday night in Cleveland, when the fans were in extasy, the music was playing, the offense trotted onto the field to take a knee and EVERYBODY was dancing to the music...including the offense in the huddle. It was glorious!! Beating the Steelers and boogying to the beat! I truly believe that tomorrow at this time we will be back in last place. But it was good while it lasted. And it lasted almost 10 days.

Well so much for two weeks in a row losing Arch Manning. Now you know the Browns will take him for sure. And the one player I had to offer from A&M in the 2nd or 3rd round was the key player in their offense & return game and went out for the season on opening kickoff against Kentucky the 3rd game of the season. WR/RB/Returner Terry Bussey will now take an injury redshirt season and return to A&M next year. Kentucky has since show they are a legit SEC power this year. Beat OU in Norman yesterday.

The longer this gets in to the college season the more I feel that we shouldn't trade a pick for a QB unless it is a 3rd rounder to move up a spot of two.

Just let the draft come to us. If a guy we like is there, take him. If not just continue to build the team. I don't know that forcing the situation is going to solve anything.

I can't think of a college QB worth trading up for, honestly.

I agree, target a couple of guys and let one fall to you in the top 10.

Who would have thought the Rams would be doing a better job of tanking than us for next draft? Too bad there are no must have QBs...so far

Both Arch and Nico are absolutely not first-round QBs.. at this point they're almost not worth a NFL roster spot. Texas' offense only was productive vs OSU after Sark forced AM to do nothing but dumpoffs and checkdowns. Nico is absolutely terrible - UCLA's offense improved greatly after he was knocked out.

Ignore every "draft analyst" who put them in the first 2 days.

I'm already bracing myself for the idea that the Browns might have to part with their 2028 first round pick next year to get themselves a QB.

Push comes to shove, I still think the Browns are a 6-8 win team this coming season, but I don't see them losing their way into a top QB falling into their laps. Now, there's always a chance they really like a guy like Julian Sayin, etc that aren't bonafide top 5 guys.

I'm still not sold on Arch Manning.

yeah I'm not big on Arch either... I think Sayin and Moore are better prospects at this point...
