Prepare To Get Your Feelings All Lathered Up - Trade Hypothetical

The Browns Board
14 11 199 1
  • Philadelphia trades A.J. Brown to New England for their first round pick.

Then, the Eagles offer their two 2027 first rounders and their 2028 first rounder for Myles Garrett.

Thoughts? Would you flatly deny the offer? Ask for a little more? Accept that offer?

Besides their own, what other team's 1st rounder do they have because a lot depends on how good or bad you think that team will be? We already know with Myles Philly would be late 1st round for their own.

That's a tough call.. They would at least have my attention... There's positive and negative on either side of this... I'm not sure I would like to be known as the guy who shipped MG out of town.. But I do understand tough decision have to be made...

No.  Our Defense crumbles without the best football player in the game.  And the hope lies in a questionable assumption (not your assumption but others) You have no guarantee that you land the best QB in 2027 if a QB needy team is at #1. And The picks are essentially second round picks.

I ride or die with Myles until he hangs them up. UNLESS I get a team with one of the best QBs and they are willing to part with their QB.  The trade would unquestionably unique bizarre and likely to never happen again.

There's a lot of smoke here in NE Ohio that Myles could be traded this afternoon.

It's no secret Dallas really wants him and that he has always wanted to play there.  Let's hope we're not going to end up with an attitude like Pickens joining our WR Corps plus some 7th round picks. That would be like just giving him away IMO...

If they trade him, they better get a haul.

I'd like to see him stay here but if they get a Godfather offer, they have to do it.

LA Rams and Philadelphia Eagles are rumored to be going after Myles.

Rams are rumored to have offered the Browns a “Ricky Williams-esque trade package”

Which ranks up there as 1 a or 1 b for the all time worse trade deal. Take it if offered. Because I follow the Browns I hope there is no such offer. But because I like Garrett I would love to see him get the ring he deserves. Joe Thomas also deserved one. It's a shame he retired instead of getting traded to a contender.

Well the leaked details of this Rams trade hardly look Ricky Williams-esque. Its underwhelming actually.
