Watson before the fumble and Watson after the fumble were and are two completely different QBs. It's quite metaphorical for his life. When he feels like he's on fire, he is, like you said, solid. When one chink develops in his armor he falls apart. Credit to the OL as well, they did what was needed in the second half.
The miss to Fannin felt like a miscommunication more than just a plain miss. Like Watson expected him to turn up field instead of continuing towards the sideline.@bbedward said:

I agree. But, overall, after the fumble he played timid and not to lose. Before the fumble, he was loose and he was playing to win. What we saw in the second quarter was nice: solid run game, solid pass game, consistently moving the ball, converting... -

I disagree. If you watch the replay from the end zone behind Watson you can see that the play had broken down. Watson then escaped the pocket running left. Fannin just kept running his in route from the right side of the field. His defender then passed him on to the next zone...except there was nobody in that zone so Fannin was WIDE open. There was no reason for Fannin to change a thing he was doing. He had 1st down distance. Watson just made a bad throw. He's supposed to be better than that.
bb - you're doing a great job with this board!! -

Perhaps, but I felt like Watson played tight when the momentum started swinging Pittsburgh's way. He missed a few open receivers that would have been huge. Also, the Boston paas that got tipped was a bad idea from the get-go, Boston was being double-covered and it was a questionable decision to attempt it.
But when we needed a few first downs to get into FG position, he stepped up. -

And how about our superfast jitterbug of a RB with that nice TD run? Or KC with his moves after the catch on his receptions?

It was GREAT to see the squealers suffer a serious lack of talent, crap play-calling, offensive line struggles, and Rodgers playing like he was eh.....stoned? He has lost a lot of arm, was floating passes again and again, and missing targets all over. The squealer defense - secondary - no workee vs the Browns. Boston is a monster rookie wr, Conception gets freaking open, and Judkins got me 21.6 points in fantasy football. Squealers are last in the division already. Browns -first. If twatson can avoid pick sixes, fumbles and ints, well, GO BROWNS ! (btw, anyone ever see the squealers have so many penalties?

Rodgers ain't no Brady at this point in his career, him screaming at everybody else including the coach was fun to watch though. -

You’ve seen stuff like this. Some rando on social media doing a recap of a game. This guy is super weird though and does this falsetto Tourette's thing. I appreciate his work.

24 year old Phoenix Phillips, who came from Maryland to Cleveland for last Thursday’s Browns/Steelers game and has been missing since after the game, was identified as the man pulled out of the Cuyahoga River today. Weird, sad story.
