Meet Easton Mascarenas-Arnold

If you look at the Browns official website, he’s listed as our starting strongside linebacker, aka SAM. He has started exactly 1 game this year, the first game. That is also the only game he had any reps at all on defense. In the other 3 games the only LBs to get snaps on defense were Schwesinger and Williams.
Easton has been with the Browns since last year. He was a udfa and got action in 16 games last year, mostly on special teams. Every time l see his name “The Macarena” pops into my head and it’s real annoying. HEEEYYY MASCARENAS…
He played college ball for both the Oregon State Beavers and USC Trojans, which is funny because one is a euphemism for a vagina, and the other goes on a penis.
Easton’s mom is Toni Mascarenas, and she’s in the University of Arizona HOF for softball. She was an All American 3rd baseman on the 2001 Wildcats team that won the college softball World Series and was teammates with Jennie Finch on that team. Toni batted .405 that year and led the team with 25 home runs. And yes, she absolutely used Easton bats and that’s totally why her son is named Easton.

Sometimes it's fun to be dyslexic or at least pretending to be. Drives the Warden to serious consideration of changing the locks next time I leave the house. In her honor, I'm pronouncing his 1st name East-tone. His mom looks like she could have been a hottie or "puro fuego" back when she was playing softball in college.
