University of Dayton: The Dayton Flyers are 3-1
-
While this may not jump to anyone as being significant. The Dayton Flyers Football are 3-1 led by their QB Brock Shondemeyer who oddly enough is backed up by the son of none other than former Jets and Marshall QB Chad Penningtons son at the QB position... They just lost a tough match to Drake University of Iowa who runs a no huddle Run and Shoot Offense. Another sad bit of news I unfortunately got to watch my nephew suffer what looks like a season ending injury.. We find out later today if its an ACL. which would pretty much wrap up his career in Collegiate Football being as he only has one year of college left. He was already coming off another injury from last season. The young man can't seem to catch a break which is unfortunate because he's a great kid with aspirations of becoming a Doctor in the field of Sports Medicine and Biology. So as we had planned we are still going to Dayton this weekend to support him and the team. We will tailgate then take in the game. Also we are going to the famed Pine Club Steakhouse in Dayton. If you haven't been there... You must go there at least once!... The Steaks are phenomenal. It puts Peter Luger to shame IMHO. Take cash and lots of it because they do not accept credit cards... Have a great weekend everybody... Go Cleveland... Go Dayton!
