disclaimer: due to Byes, rankings are a little skewed. we've played 8 games, the Saints only 7.

This will be the end of our 3 game road trip. We've got to come home 2-1 for the trip.

This is a Must Win game! If your goal is the playoffs...and with a record of 5-3, the whole organization has got to be focused on making the playoffs.
The Saints are BAD on D. Add one more game of stats to them and they're at the bottom of the league on Pass D and not 12th. On Offense the Saints have put up 30 or more points 4 times this season, scoring 45 points against the Falcons. So they are not going to be a pushover. They're obviously a pretty good passing team. Fortunately, they're not a good running team. Hopefully we don't make them look like they are good.

We need to stack two wins together and go into the Bye week at 7-3. That means beating this Saints team on the road and having Watson beat his old team in Cleveland next week. Go Browns!

See the map, be the map.

Pretty good coverage for our Brownies this week. Parts of 15 states get in on the coverage.

Most of Ohio gets the game, except for you sad sacks in the northwest corner from Van Wert to Put In Bay. I think someone needs to open a competing island filled with promiscuous women called Put Out Bay.

Most of WV, KY and PA gets the game, and parts of MD, DE, IN and VA are in too. Roanoke will be watching, because fuck the Steelers.

On the southern side, all of LA and most of AL will be watching, as well as parts of MS, FL, AR, TX, and the southeast corner of OK, which is where Tom, Oklahoma is located.

Tom was named after Thomas Alexander Stewart, and he got the honor because he was their first postmaster. How about that? If you’re the first person to deliver mail somewhere, they’ll name the whole damn town after you. Pretty weird that it’s his first name though. Can you imagine Washington DC being called George DC?

To further boggle your mind with the Stewart postal power, Tom’s wife Americus was a postmistress, and yes, that’s a term for a female postmaster. Hot, right? The nearby town of America, OK is named after her. And yes, they get the Browns game too.

Two days ago, after I had stated that we need some TE blocking to help the OL, the Browns signed Carsen Ryan from the practice squad to the active roster. And then yesterday they waived him. 😞 I'm guessing they could see that he won't be any help to either of the tackles.

@Ibleedbrown Then there’s the weird saga of the other TE we drafted from Cincinnati (Ohio State prior to there) who is going through something undisclosed and hasn’t been with the team. I think he was drafted to be a complement to Fannin.
