League Leading: D'Qwell Jackson

I posted this last season at this point too.

I swear I don't know how he does it but DQ is leading the league in solo tackles (source NFL.com)

He is 3rd overall in total tackles. No doubt attributed to the massive amount of time our defense spends on the field each game. Still surprising though.

That IS pretty surprising. I always seem to underestimate DQ.

Wish they kept track on where the tackles occured...not a fan of our 4-3 mlb.

Wali Rainer never had 200+ tackles. His best year he had 108 solo and 29 Ast (137 total). But anyway...

could it be that he has so many tackles because the backs run right at him? it's not a knock on DQ'J, it's what they do when they face a team with skills like his. just ask Jamal.

thats on the DL.....DQ's job is to make tackles, wherever they may be on the field.

DQJ runs people down all over the field and is often the difference in only a 5-7 or 10-15 yd gain as opposed to a much bigger gain or a touchdown...he defends his own turf ferociously and plays in an all or nothing style...he is also good at short range pass coverage...the guy doesnt get enough credit he is very talented and does many different assignments very well for the browns...
