    If some one had asked the Lions last year if they could have just one ugly win like this and not go 0 - 16 im sure they would have been as excited as possible. But sadly they have the 0 - 16 tag stuck on them forever.

    We in Cleveland with lesser talent that last years Lions managed to win one game thanks to our defense and special teams. However instead of being happy and just living in the moment what do we do ? moan and bitch about how we suck and this win does not count. Did u seriously think this game was worse than the slaughter fest we faced last year under Ken Dorsey and Bruce Gradkowski ? We won ... The monkey is off or back ... just be happy for that.

    As Rizzo said on the radio this morning, "Did you give back the flowers after figure skating better than the competition?"

    I actually liked yesterdays game. For the first time since 1999 we found a way to win by using as many faces of our team that we could. Great Special Teams play, Great o-line play (for us), good running, good defense, better coached/more disciplined team ... won while in the midst of making some big offensive adjustments. We didn't out-coach ourselves and that is probably what I will take from this game the most.

    this is exactly how i feel. yes, we still suck but at least we aren't going to have a perfect season this year.

    There were people on the radio this weekend that bitched that OSU wouldn't have won 31-13, had they not returned a couple INT's and a kick return for TD's.

    Baby Steps. Baby Steps. If the Browns defense and special teams can play this well, great, they will be in a lot of games. The offense will just have to catch up. A good test will come this week against a mediocre Steeler team who have eked out some wins against some very below average teams (Tenn. and Detroit)
