  • i said yes. that's cheap compared to some rookie contracts that never even contribute in a positive way.

considering all he does if the team paid him this every year i wouldn't even blink. but then again, you could call me a Cribbs fan.

edit: on NO, maybe not nickle dime but less than 4 Mil still counts. in my mind if you'll go 3, why not 3.5. and if you'll go 3.5, why not 4? it's so easy spending other people's money, isn't it?

Poll results from the old forum

would you be okay with paying Josh Cribbs 4 Million per year?

    • YES!!! we can afford it!! how do you put a price on heart anyway?!?: 16 votes
    • NO! we have great value now, nickle and dime him!: 9 votes
  • Send DA packing before march and pay cribbs 3 mil a year for 3 years cap problem equalized and JC deserves the pay...PAY THE MAN! 😉

  • nope.....not for a returner....

  • The FA bozo that stiffed Cribbs is looking for new employment..............

    Aponte takes a Hike....

  • The reason Cribbs wont get paid like he deserves is he still is under contract for 3 more years. I see him getting a contract in the range or 2-3 mill a year with possible incentives for the remaining 3 years. Cribbs is a great returner but wayyy under par as a reciever. He can run the WildDawg so that is the only reason he warrents more money. Until he proves he can be a good reciever he will not draw the hester money he wants. Just compare Hester and Cribbs stats at WR and its clear why Hester makes more!!!!!!

  • I see a fair deal for Cribbs and the Browns as $2.5 - $3 million plus incentives per year for three years, $4 million too much as a base salary.

  • playerjdd- are you joking?! Hester is way overpaid himself! His stats are only a bit better because he has had more balls thrown his way and Cutler is kinda a little better than DA and Quinn..
