I'm kinda getting on the RGIII train... I like Colt a lot, but I'm still extremely skeptical he's our guy. I just really think RGIII will bring something to this team that we have not had since our return.. excitement on offense!! (besides the 07' campaign)
Also, I think he will definitely come out in the draft this year now that barkley is staying put...
Resign Hillis and then you don't have to worry about drafting a RB early in the draft... I would like to see Hillis in Cleveland for a few more years. He DOES make the offense better...
We should have kept him... no clue why he was not a priority to resign. Arguably the best lead blocker in the game right now.
I'll still never forget that pick six he had against the giants on Monday Night Football... legendary....

For god's sake people, let's just see how this plays out.. Holmgren was brought here to change the frachise, which just about everyone was thrilled with, so let the man do his job!! Heckert is a hell of GM and I have total faith that Holmgren and Heckert made the choice they wanted.. Plus, it really doesn't matter what we think anyway.. we are all just along for the ride! Look, what we have done in the past has NOT worked.. so let's try something dfferent! The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results. I for one won't make judgement either way on this hire until I see what's happening on the field. And one other thing... who gives a xxxx how pitt or balt do things!!!! No effin way! Mularkey was head coach in buffalo for a few years, and boy did he fail miserably!!! He is NOT head coach material. I will not have a problem with his as a coordinator though. I live in Rochester, NY which is about an hour from buffalo, so I heard all about how bad of job he did as head coach.
I'm in the quick minority here.This kid can return to Stanford ANY time he wants for the rest of his life and finish the year on his degree to go design structures.
But what he CAN'T do is guarantee he will be the first pick in the draft in 2012.
It's not something he should risk IMO. I know it still worked out for guys like Bradford, but why place yourself at risk? There is one thing he can't do, and that is IMPROVE his draft position.
I commend him on honoring a contract and all, but if it were me or my son, I'd suggest otherwise.
100% Agree! He is taking a HUGE risk.. how could you pass up guaranteed mulit-millions of dollars to finish out one year?! Especially when he can go back to stanford ANYTIME. I just really can't see the rationale for starting delhomme any longer.. I mean, it's mind boggling... the offense is DEAD when he is in.. delhomme should have been pulled at half or at WORST end of third quarter yesterday. AHHHH It def. makes you think though about all the back door politics that might be involved...

Hate to break the news to you- since you seem to be a little behind the times- the NFL (make that the commish, Mr. Goodell) isn't putting up with "thugs" anymore in the NFL. You can be an "enforcer" on the field, but you had damn well better mind your Ps and Qs off of it.Pacman Jones sure helped the Titans a whole bunch after he got suspended for a year- and Cheapshotter Harrison is one more illegal hit away from sitting down for a game or two.
So I hope you're not referring to "thugs" in the purest sense- because those guys days are OVER in today's NFL. Now if you mean "bad attitude" guys like Randy Moss- who only succeeded in New England because he had a whole slew of "good character" guys to keep him in check. Well, just take a look at the current edition of the Bungles- a team coming apart at the seams because the inmates are running the asylum.
I like the direction the Browns are heading in- having high character guys who still know how to play football is a plus.
