Okay, you're crazy. McDaniels is less than nothing without Belicheat and his cameras, and also is a piece of crap who bailed on the Colts - luckily for them - after accepting their HC job. Who would want him besides two of the dumbest owners in the league, Jim 'pills are my life' Irsay and Jim 'felony fraud, steelers #1 fan' Haslam.
Also, why would anyone want a washed-up 43 year old QB who's only played in one place with one system for one coach his entire career? If he leaves NE, where he sucked this year, it's not going to go well for him.
Lemme ask you something, how many Super Bowls has Belichick won without McDaniels? The answer is 0.
Not saying McDaniels is the sole reason, but to assert that’s Belichick is the reason for McDaniels success as an OC is factually incorrect and ridiculous. Not to mention, Belichick is a defensive coach and McDaniels has full control of the offense.
A 43 year old QB who clearly is still good. This year he threw for 4,000 yards, 24 TDs and 8 INTs. Yeah, he sucks. He’s played for one system, and he’s most likely going to follow that system (McDaniels) wherever he goes for one more year.
Call me crazy, but Tony Romo hinted it and I’ve felt the same way. Josh McDaniels is a northeast Ohio guy, went to John Carroll. He’s been interested in coaching the Browns for years, we just never gave him an interview. Now we are, and according to sources the Haslams want him, so the job is his if he wants it.
You heard Romo, Brady isn’t done. But he’s done with the Patriots, and is an unrestricted free agent. What did Tony Romo day? He needs help... Hmmm two 1,000 yard receivers and two Top 5 running backs sounds like help to me.
McDaniels wanted Baker in the draft. In fact, he was lobbying to trade up to #2 in the 2018 draft if we didn’t take Baker. His offense is complex though, and Baker needs to mature.
In comes Tom Brady for one more year with McDaniels, while Baker learns the offense.
Call me crazy, just watch.
OK, so, it is slow in the NFL football front. So, here are some Crazy/Bold predictions for the forthcoming NFL season. Some are really out there, others not so much. Most are courtesy of Yahoo Sports, some are of my own making. Tell whether you agree with these being possible, or not. (love or shove)
1. The Cowboys will finish last in the NFC East Shove
2. Daniel Jones will get -0- starts with the NY Giants Shove
3. Dwayne Haskins will start week 1 for the Redskins Love
4. The Tampa Bay Bucs will go from 5-11 to 11-5 Love
5. Cam Newton's play will continue to deteriorate due to his injuries Love
6. The New Orleans Saints will Win the Super Bowl, and then Drew Brees will retire. Shove
7. The Lions will fire Matt Patricia mid season Shove.. He will get a third year
8. The Packers win the NFC North....Matt LeFleur wins Coach of the Year Shove
9. Kirk Cousins proves his mediocrity with as many Ints, as he has TD passes Shove. Won’t be great, but will have more TDS than INTs
10. The 49ers win the AFC West, over the Rams and Seahawks Shove
11. The Rams suffer a Super Bowl loss hangover...and miss the playoffs altogether Shove. Hangover? Yes. Miss playoffs? No.
12. The Bills challenge the Patriots for the division with a 10 win season Shove.. But do think the Bills are going to surprise people.
13. Josh Rosen's stats put him in the Top 10 QBs in the league this year Shove
14. Leveon Bell will basically be a bust for the NY Jets Shove.. this is a little ambiguous, but he’s going to make an impact
15. The Colts will win the AFC South...and represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, and Luck will be MVP Shove. Division champs? Yes. In the super bowl? No, that spot is taken by our Brownies.
16. Nick Foles will lead the Jags to a wildcard playoff spot. Shove.
17. Ryan Tannehill will replace Marcus Mariota as the Tits starter at some point. Love
18. Cincinnati wins the AFC North

19. Robert Griffin III will have to step in and play half the season as Ravens starter because of injuries to Lamar Jackson. Ravens slump Shove. I think Lamar is gonna make it.
20. James Conner and Juju Smith-Shuster will make Pittsburghers forget about L. Bell and A. Brown as Pisstown is the only challenger to Cincy for AFCN title. Love James Conner and JuJu making Pittsburgh forget about Brown and Bell, Shove to Bengals being their Divison challenger.
21.Joe Flacco sucks for Denver and is replaced Love. By week 8.
22. The Chargers defense carries them to the AFC West title Shove. Patty Mahomes.
23. Patrick Mahomes has a big dropoff, with like 30 TDs and 20 Ints Love. Will drop off, still be a star.
24. Derek Carr rebounds and makes the Pro Bowl. Oakland challenges for the playoffs....and they have to spend another year in Oak because the Vegas stadium will still not be ready next year. Love. Derek Carr is going to have an efficient year, but not sold on pro bowl. Will rebound. Shove to the stadium. Money talks, they’ll be in Vegas ASAP.
25. The Browns will prove that they still do not know how to win and will suffer a 10 loss season! Shove. Dorsey and Baker changed the culture. We are the Big Dick Browns now.
So looks like Flores was unimpressive in his interview with the Dolphins. But from my research, he seems like the quiet leader type, not a rah rah guy, so perhaps that’s what the Dolphins are looking for and why Flores didn’t impress them. They liked Kris Richard, for context, who is a huge rah rah guy.

Dan Campbell is my #1 guy too. Truly a leader of men. He and Kitchens both have worked with Parcells so there’s familiarity there in terms of keeping Kitchens as OC.
But I’m expecting Flores to be our coach.
Zac Jackson from The Athletic (Twitter @AkronJackson) was a guest on the Bull & Fox show today.
During the discussion, he was pressed to speculate who would be the top 3 candidates for the Browns HC position.
He gave kudos to Dorsey for keeping a tight lid on any leaks coming out of Berea.
He prefaced his choice of Campbell, Campbell, and Kitchens by saying “if we can read the tea leaves”.
Once he said that, I knew it was just speculation.

Also seeing that the Dolphins were the first of four scheduled interviews for Brian Flores and it happened this morning. So I find it hard to believe if we haven't even interviewed him yet that he is going to be the guy because he may not interview well he may not want the job or any other litany of reasons
He’s not going to choose the Dolphins over the Browns. We have a QB, a young defense, and a ridiculous amount of cap space. I would assume a lot of these interviews are for coordinator positions
Is Flores the rooney rule guy? I trust Dorsey and if Dorsey picks him then I'll get on board and I would assume since he's a defensive guy the idea is to keep Freddie kitchens but if this really is the higher I can't get excited right now
They already interviewed Jim Caldwell, and did it early, I’m assuming to get the Rooney Rule out of the way quickly
Dustin Fox got a text from his insider guy saying that Flores is the guy.
For those of you who are going “yeah, whatever” remember... Dustin was the FIRST to call Baker to us about a week before the draft, got a text from the same source back then.

Hey man seriously though, 2 years ago he was going to court for not paying child support, fast forward now he’s in his daughter’s life and they both look so happy. If he lost his leg tomorrow and never played another down he made the change that truly matters
