Is It Just Steelers Fans Losing Interest In The New Nfl?The NFL has one fear It is trying to avoid: a player death on the field.

Jim Tressel Tenders ResignationThe excuse that "everybody does it" won't hold water. The coach violated rules, told lies, and showed that OSU was running a dirty program.

Rate The Wrs In Top Ten PicksLarry Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson, and Torry Holt are the best picks.

Mike Tomlin might be on a short leashWell Rich I mostly agree with you- the Steelers may possibly have the worst Special teams in the NFL, but that's not the biggest issue. Yeah, they need another Jerome Bettis- good luck on finding one. But finding adequate pass blockers has to be their #1 priority. Ben's already taken a severe pounding and he's a candidate for a shortened career if the sacks keep piling up at the same rate. And there's the issues of age on D- Hampton is 31, Farrior is 35. That's a lot of holes to try and fill in one offseason.
Yeah, I noticed what a good running game will do in the playoffs- not just the Ravens, the Jets won that game not because of Sanchez, but the superior running attack. I'm glad we don't have to hear Sheps incessant mantra MUUUUUUSSSSSTTTTTT draft qb, MUUUUUUUsssst draft qb.

Mike T. says: "How do you like me now?"

your favorite teamsThis will seem very strange to most on here:
Favorite: Steelers
Ones I like: Browns (the rivalry between the teams made me sad when Baltimore took the team and am so glad Cleveland has a team again) Cowboys (because my son works for them), Dolphins, Bills
Dislike: Broncos, Patriots, Jets
Hate: Raiders: This goes back a long way
Indifferent: everyone else

The most aggregious call ever!!!!!!!!!!Formerly Stone said:
It was the correct call and the only call that could be made. The rule says if you are contacted you must maintain possession of the ball upon impact with the ground......he clearly didn't.Finally, someone who understands the rule. This is correct call and the rule shouldn't be changed. The alternative would be that after any pass where the receiver were hit the ground with ball without his hands or other body part being underneath the ball, and then have the ball bounce away would have to be called a catch. I would be less happy with that than the rule as it is.
CJ hit the ball on the ground, it came out of his hand immediately at that point. It is not a catch or a TD. It never should be called one.

Fan wears LeBron's Heat jersey at Indians gameHe shouldn't have been there, deal with it. He wanted attention and was being a dick, he deserved to get kicked out.
Of course he wanted attention. Wearing that there was not bright, but he wanted to incite and he did. However, this episode also makes Cleveland fans look bad.
I think the classy thing to do would have been to strip that jersey off, stomp it into the ground and let the taunters tear it to shreds. Now, that would have been worthwhile.
In fact I recommend that to someone who goes to the next Indians game. We should take up a collection to pay for the jersey.

Erin Andrews Sues Ohio StateWhy sue Ohio State University? What did they have to do with it? Hotel: OK, University: no.

46 Years and counting....This was our last chance for a long time, to get Cleveland a championship. The Browns and Indians are far away from even being playoff teams again. Lebron is leaving, no doubt about that, and the Indians are just...well pathetic and Shapiro needs to go. His love of prospects is running that team into the ground and while some of these prospects pan out to be great pick ups, he dumps them off too. Grady and Choo will be gone by the end of the year. The Browns? 5 wins last year...probably the same, if not worse next year. We'll be waiting for a long time...
The only other team in Ohio close to winning a championship is the Akron Zips soccer team haha and really who cares about soccer? But I bet it will be another decade before we see a team be a "contender" like the Cavs were this year, and last year, and the year before that, and the year before that haha
Let's face it, the most likely next championship is the Browns, and that is half a decade away, or more. Indians: never. Cavs: not likely now.

IS LEBRON Already CASHING OUT????There's something wrong with him physically or mentally, and I'm afraid it's the latter. -

SANTONIO HOLMES: Definition of a SteelerRorbotron said:
lol. Do you honestly believe the last part of your post? The Steelers are still one of the better if not the best drafting team in the NFL and as long as they continue to uphold that mantra they will NEVER be riding the bottom. As far as Holmes is concerned he's definitely a dipshit, at least as of late. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get traded. Thankfully Mike Wallace has proven to be a steal in the 3rd round and we signed Randel El. The wildcard is now Sweed. EIther way a disheartening situation and twitter is a nightmare. Thanks goodness: he's gone. Anyone taking bets on how long it is before he ends up as Plaxico's cellmate?

Steeler Bashing Thread ... and responses from Squeeler fansEven if that big baffon is not charged, A lot of damage was still done to his rep as well as how his team mates view him. I got to believe this distraction will cost the stoolers some wins this year.
Steeler fan here: I hope he is indicted and convicted. That way the Rooneys' decision is made for them and we can move on. If he is not indicted, the cloud hangs over Heinz. I would prefer taking a few more losses for awhile than having him on the team.

Congrats...Hey Browns fans
Big Steeler fan here, just wanted to stop in and give you a congrats. I know you're looking for more out of Brady Quinn than he showed tonight, but your defense turned in one of the best performances I've seen in quite awhile. Ballsy DC calling and executing man coverage all night long and still getting great pressure on the QB. Enjoy this one, it was well earned.
Another Steeler fan here. The Browns defense was great, particularly the secondary. Ben was sacked so much because the coverage was so tight there was no where to throw the ball without a big INT risk. Very impressive. Better than the Steelers' secondary.
Cribb was a one man offensive team.
Congratulations.

bare back fieldthey were too busy wankin' it.
You know something about those guys I don't?
It was not an enticing sight in my eyes.

bare back fieldWas anyone else watching the Bears game on Sunday night when Hester's rear was exposed? I saw it fleetingly, but have a DVR so backed it up and paused it. There was his bare back field for all to see. LMAO.

Collingsworth and Michaels said nothing.

Hines Ward NFL's Dirtiest Player- So say his peersThis is very interesting history lessons. There are a lot of some sort of championships that went to teams from northeast Ohio. But to say that this means the Cleveland Browns have a claim to all those championships is more than a stretch. It's a laugh. -

Heres My Issue with this. Defenders have NO problem Drilling a Guy who doesnt see them coming. Bart Scott was on espn radio tuesday saying his "Best" Hit ever was on Ben Roethlisberger ... "And he never seen me coming...I had a 15 yard head start , I thought I Killed him , he was down like 10 minutes" (paraphrased) He did say he was concerned afterward ... but these same defenders dont want be the "Hunted". So No offense , its football and a WR that has to go over the middle as part of his Job yet still takes pride in Jacking a defender trying to stop our offense ?? I have No Problem with that. The defensive guys who are offended by it... sorry it smells of a double standard.Someone making sense.
