i strongly dislike the ohio state buckeyes. it seems that their most overzealous fans have never set foot in a college classroom much less the actual OSU. i'm a huge ohio university football fan though. i'm an alum and current grad student and to see their program getting better is pretty cool.

i've been a browns fan my entire life but i've always hated the bengals more than the steelers. living in southern ohio will do that to a man.

I completely agree. I currently go to Ohio University and can't stand the amount of people who just jump on the OSU Bandwagon. Not everyone who lives in Ohio has to like OSU. I'm not sure 90% of Ohioans even know that there are any other Ohio colleges. Go CATS and Go BROWNS.

Athens is a great town, I dated a girl that went there, good school. But Michigan still sucks...

Absolutely love the place. I'm gonna miss it when I leave here. Michigan Sucks, can't say much for my Bobcats, but at least I love watching the Buckeyes lose. Even jerseys down here were sparse today.

@socalbrownsfan said:

Let me guess, you are a Michigan fan. PS........they suck.

Nope. Ohio THE State University. Go Bobcats.

Screw the Suckeyes.

I say:

Director of Public Relations: Bob Knight

Executive Vice President of Football Operations: Bill Parcells

Coach: Cowher (If he goes for it) or Bilick.

Except that Holmgren is retiring after this year...

Sure, let's go draft every Ohio State Suckeye we can get.

Take off the colored blinders, please..... Laurinitis sucks. He wont do anything in the NFL, mark it down.

Give me Spikes or Maualuga or over that overhyped machine.

I agree. The Bucknuts are WAY overrated.

Mark Parson from Ohio would be a great choice for the Browns. I go to Ohio and have been able to see him play. He's the real deal IMO. He would be a solid 3rd round+ pick.

I also think Maualuga would be the spark we need on D.

I wouldn't mind seeing Winslow and Stallworth go to GB for Greg Jennings. I don't know how likely that is, but Jennings is a sold receiver. Go back to a 4-3 and move Wimbley back to DE and Beau Bell should start. I think Harrison and a smaller fast RB could switch off and get the job done. Also, I say bring in a 2 QB system using primarily Quinn or Anderson but Cribbs take maybe 40% of the snaps. Pick up a young but experienced LB and S and Draft one of each in the first round if possible.

....and of course a new coach. I'm on board for Cowher, Russ Grimm, or Marty.

You're a Browns fan? That's funny, I could have swore you were a duechebag.

If you're going to insult me, at least you could spell it correctly.

You are all the biggest whiners on the planet. Officially bigger whiners than the Bucknut fans. Get off the Brady Quinn bandwagon. Denver and Buffalo suck. He has proved nothing yet. I'm embarassed to be a Browns fan....

Edwards and Romeo screwed up DA. If you can't see that, you're a moron.

Iron City beer is horrible. Great Lakes beer is delicious. That's one thing Cleveland does way better than Pittsburgh. And in September and December, you get Nosferatua and Christmas Ale, 8.0% and 7.5% ABV respectedly. And that does come in handy when we have to watch Romeo Crennel disgrace our beloved franchise. If this season doesn't end soon, I going to end up in AA.

Smartest thing I've heard on this board all day.

I'd rather see Winslow and Edwards to GB for Greg Jennings.

Tom brady did all the time until randy moss got there. He never had great WR.

They also had a good defense. And I bet their receivers didn't drop nearly as many good balls.

@kamac19 said:

Are you kidding me, he has been starting for the past year and a half, he should have been able to walk into that game and take command straight away, he was supposed to be one of the team captains, yes the whole offense sucked today, but DA certainly made it no better than BQ

You give Tom Brady or Favre our shitty receivers and as many injuries and inconsistencies as we have given DA this year and they won't perform very well either. Don't get me wrong, I think Quinn will be good. And I hope he does extremely well no matter who he plays for. But Pulling Anderson 3 weeks ago was stupid. Quinn hasn't done anything that DA couldn't do. The QB isn't the problem. Trent Dilfer was dead on.

Imagine That!!!!

@eqrulz101 said:

What the hell are you talking about, DA had all year to prepare and laid an egg all year except on game. You do not pull BQ in that situation, you make him work out of it. Oh and you bench BE, what a fucking joke of a reciever.

And WHO performed during the one game that Anderson did well????? EDWARDS and our D.

@jlowe said:

granted its the texans, but whats wrong with holding a team to 16 points?

That's because their offense sucked. Just not as bad as ours. If I remember correctly, our defense gave up 2 13 point leads. Barring Rosenfels' 2 interceptions today, they would have handled us.

@jlowe said:

Brady had a 21 qb rating....DA had a 17 qb rating. which one is better?

Are you kidding me?!?!?! To be brought in and have to clean up that mess in the fourth quarter after you haven't started for 3 weeks???? No one would be able to do that. You people are as bad as Buckeye fans. Give Anderson a week to prepare as the starter and he will play better than Quinn. THE QB is not the problem! Its the coaches and our terrible recievers and DEFENSE.

If you think this is Anderson's fault, you're a moron. His bad rating was due to our Retarded recievers, terrible play calling, and the fact that hes rusty from being wrongfully removed as the starter. THIS WEEK: FIRE CRENNEL. NEXT YEAR: TRADE BRAYLON AND WINSLOW FOR GREG JENNINGS.

Terrible Defense = Former Suckeye coach. Coincidence?

I say we get rid of Savage, bring in Marty as our GM and hire Cowher as head coach. And no former Suckeye coaches on the staff.
