Look at the QBs.  The only constant is Hue.  He is a terrible HC.  As bad as our QBs are I promise you Hue is the problem.

Watching now thanks!  So far PItt pass rush is really disrupting things for Kizer.  At least the first sack was a coverage sack however he refused to throw the ball away, prolly hoping to extend a man open but that never happened.  Gots to throw it away.  But so far doesn't look like he's missing wide open guys or reads, so very encouraging, so far.

I hate WRs with stone hands.  I'd rather have a reliable WR that's slow as a brick.

The Seattle Seahawks are trying to trade wide receiver Jermaine Kearse, sources told ESPN's Dianna Russini.

Kearse is set to make $2.2 million in base salary in 2017 as part of the three-year, $13.5 million deal he signed in March 2016.

 

He's cheap, has good vet experience at the position and is a solid deep threat.  I'd take a flyer on him.  He's not only a Superbowl experienced WR but he's a tremendous blocker as well.  Maybe we can send the Seahawks our newly added 5th rounder for him.

So now that he's been named the starter, do they play him the last game of the preseason?  I know the starters never play the 4th game but him being a rookie, this could be a good time to practice some things for Hue and Kizer that they want to implement week 1 vs the Steelers.

Looking at Kizer's statline, it looks horrible but if you are watching the game, very impressive.

Should have just called a screen there Hue.

Kizer on fire.  Dude isn't afraid of anything.  Backed up, 3rd and long, no problemo.

Dude has some impressive pump fakes.  Wonder how long it will take defenses to figure that part out.

Also, it should be pointed out that with the new CBA rules, Kizer would be learning more in the game than sitting on the bench, where he would be receiving basically zero reps.  

In fact just being the starter from now until week 1, he would learn and advance farther than he would be sitting on the bench for the entire season, I'd wager.   

Let's not forget Jameis Winston was also 21 when he threw for 4000 yds as a rookie.  He also threw a bunch of INTs that year but look where he is right now.

If things go worse for Kizer than they did for Jameis then at least we know what we have in him and can go after a number of studs in the upcoming draft.

To be fair he's actually been decent when pressured.  PFF had him with a 100 passer rating when pressured.  Well above average.  His sacks are just that, sacks.  Every QB gets them, no surprise a rookie would as well.

Really nice breakdown of Kizer on here. Damn did not realize how aggressive NO was. It is amazing that this kid didn't fold under that kind of pressure. Skys the limit.
