Who cares! Let's rattle off four wins off Jax, Carolina, Miami, and Buffalo.

Exactly the way I feel!! Lets win them all and put it on the line against the Rats and the over-rated Steelers at the end. Woulda coulda shouda be 5-4 at the worst right now but it is what it is!!

Our opponents thus far have a combined 52-29 record, by far the toughest schedule in the league and we have been right there in evey game. Dominated a couple.

McCoy is our Qb for the next ten years and hopefully Hillis is our TB for the next 5.

Go Browns!!

I know its way early for this but I think Colt plays the game "Montana" like. I see alot of a young Joe Montana in him. He's our QB for the next decade imo.

Ill throw in for Tj's fine for the Jets game.

You could have watched it online. I watched it with the Celtics announcer's, they were the biggest whiney crybabies I ever heard. I muted it after halftime

Ive got the NBA package on DTV so I can catch all the games. Youre right about the Celtics announcers. Huge crybabies!! Celtics NEVER commit a foul according to them and Cleveland fakes everything.

This was the most Ive enjoyed watching a Cavs game in years. Scott had them ready to play and the players looked so gratefull to be able to do so. They didnt have to stand around in the corners waiting to do something. Fans were great. The joint was jumpin'

Go Cavs!

I grew up in Cleveland but have been living in the South for quite a while now. Im of course a lifetime Browns fan and so is my son. Im only about 2 hours from New Orleans so I look forward of course to the Browns coming down.

We were there for the first one. I can still see Tim Couch throwing a dart to about the 50 with little or no time left, then slinging that beauty to KJ on the hail mary. The Saints fans (who are great fans) around us just deflated all at once and Ditka was laid out face down on the turf!!

We also went down a few years later. The Browns owned that game, Couch was sharp and we had great seats. Front row at the 50 behind the Browns bench. My son got numerous autographs and Earl Little gave him his signed gloves.

We will be there again this Sunday, front row 45 yard line on the Browns side. We will be in full Browns regelia. Im 2-0 down there so I hope we can grab another win.

Go Browns!!

Update:

What a great game. We got there about an hour before game time. Great seats front row 45 yard line.

Saints fans were great. Probably about 1000 Browns fans scattered through the stadium.

The Browns looked sharp in warm-ups, very focused.

Perfect execution on the punt return. We went crazy, I thought Wright was going to score. A huge play.

To me the Fujita interception really set the tone for the game. Every Saints fan I talked to loves this guy.

Rogers played his best game of the year. Browns were hitting and wrapping up. Hillis was a beast. I thought we kept good pressure on Brees.

Seems like we could have picked him off on nearly every possesion. The players seemed pumped up and had lots of interaction with the Browns

fans there. They all went crazy on the Hodges run!!! McCoy looked confident and a leader on the field and the sideline.

We need some help at WR bad!! Sorry to say it but Robiskie has no business on an NFL team. Looks very soft out there.

Defense , AWESOME! Mangini called a great game and we played just about flawless. Saints love is gone. The fans seem disgusted and the

Brees love is gone too. They filed out early, looked like stadium of the living dead!!

Great Job Browns. Im now 3-0 in the Dome!!

Let it play here for a week or so before you move and combine it with the current barbarshop talk topic. I found the movie compelling.....especially for women. And especially for those who appreciate ONE GREAT Athlete and those who like horse racing. The movie is a must for all except wife beating lame males. The GREATEST ATHLETE OF THE LAST CENTURY Secretariat and a story told well......and accurate

I remember the year of Secretariat quite clearly. I was 13 playing summer league baseball in Chagrin Falls. Seemed like everyone was into it at the time. Of course we had no ESPN, internet etc. It was big news. We all gathered round the TV to watch the Belmont. Still gives me shivers to think about it. One the most exciting Non-Cleveland sports moments of my life. My wife and I are going to see it Friday night.

From the previews it appears that they try to make Diane Lane look old and she still is smokin hot!!

Have a blast. If you ever make it up here to motherland, look us up to tailgate party.

Thanks for the invite! We are making a pilgrimage up there next year. Wanna catch a game or two at the Jake and a Browns game.

The two worst things about where I live now:

Saints fans and especially LSU fans.

I was looking up some height weight stats in order to compare Colt McCoy to another famous UT Longhorn QB, Bobby Layne, who took the Detroit Lions to 3 NFL Titles in the 50s. Layne was 6'1" 210 pounds. So then I google McCoy, and I am finding that his height in various places claims all sorts of things.

One says that he is 6'1 210. Others that he is 6'2" 215. Some even have him listed at 6'3". The Browns official roster lists him at 6'1" 216. So, what is right?

He was measured 6'1" at the combine. That stuff is usually dead-on.

Defensive backs?

Maybe quarterback? I think Colt showed some promise and upside during the game today, so it will obviously be bobbled on the hands of Colt McCoy and how he improves (hopefully) over the course of the season. If McCoy flops on the year I think a guy like Ryan Mallet would really bring the Browns back.

But, if McCoy does well this year, I think the Browns could pick up a guy like Pat Peterson or Amukamara.

Thoughts? Visit My Website

WR and its not close. Our starters are the worst in the league and its not close. IMO we need to sign a big time veteran WR if possible. This crew needs some leadership. Rookie recievers arent going to be the answer. Start McCoy the rest of the way.

Hell Id start Moore out there over Robiskie!!

Braylon Edwards and Kelly Holcomb for me. Holcomb is the softest QB Ive ever seen in the NFL. Edwards always seemed more interested in his modeling and bi-curious lifestyle than catching the ball.

Tim Brando is the worst football announcer at any level including high school.

This is not the first time Suh has played the bully role. Those of you who saw the way he tackled McCoy in the Texas - Nebraska game last fall might remember what I am talking about. When I saw how he took down Delhomme down, I just thought, "I've seen this before."

For all the stuff that has been said about this incident, I was watching the NFL netwoerk tonight and saw the play again. I had not previously realized that the throw down came AFTER bpth of Delhomme's knees were on the ground. He actually threw Delhomme to the ground when Jake was in a kneeling position, having already been tackled by Suh.

Having seen the real extent of Suh's actions, I have how moved from being uneasy about Suh's actions to whatever has been done by the league is a mere pittance of what should have been done.

The penalty should have been more severe. It was just a down-right dirty play. Jake could have been seriously injured but I was glad to see him pop right up and not lay around on the ground for 15 minutes like todays athletes like to do. All of that being said I wish we had Suh!!

Engram made a case for himself and allen blew it, mangini has got to be scratching his head and pulling his hair out..do you keep the old vet thats lost 2 steps but keeps showing up or do you keep the young guy that looks gifted but raw and hasnt yet took a step...

We are in a rebuild and personally im for making the youth step up and answer the call for tomorrow today as opposed to trading tomorrow's potential golden gems off for a fading bitter vet whom in many cases will only add some marginal stability today..

So many made a legit case for themselves last night but at least some of those that are cut will leave with some good film..

At this point ive had a change of mind about ratty i hope we keep him, he is a very good 3rd QB if something happened to jake and seneca we would be far better off with ratty under center than mccoy or most any other 3rd string qb in the league, he is loyal and tries to do what he is asked and he isnt a whiny little biatch about it but a good soldier..

I was really hoping that Jake Allen would make it. My son played football with him at Mississippi College. Engram is probably a keeper. He and Stuckey are the only real veteren influences we have at WR. Ratcliff is as good as gone IMO. There is just no spot for him on this team. I have no doubt he will be picked up quickly by another team though.

I have not watched the game yet but Im not a Jennings or Davis fan. It seems like Davis never breaks a tackle. In the Lions game it took no more than a finger to get him to the ground. I dont see him as a future #1 back for us. Monterio's injury really bothers me. I think we need to see whats available after final cuts. As it is I think we might see more of Hillis than people expect. I love our "bash brothers" backfield with Hillis and Vickers.

Im still hoping we can pull a rabbit out of the hat instead of throwing the whole hat at the opposition this year as far as a pass rush is concerned..a second late and a sack short sucks especially CB blitzes particularly when it leaves abram " delayed reaction" elam or mike "i think im lost" adams or brandon 'where am i" mcdonald in man coverage with even a slug with bad hands, it quickly becomes a potentially dangerous situation with a minimal of an almost assured catch...

We have a serious nickel and secondary quality depth problem in general along with a problem disguising coverages/blitzes as the rams revealed.. lets hope its just preseason vanilla because if its not we could opportunistically get burned at just the right time all year...

From what Ive seen our secondary imo is as deep as its been in years. Wright, Brown, Haden, McDonald, Adams, Ward, Ventrone, Abrams have all looked good to me so far. I think when the entire Dline is starting that our LBs will provide a better pass rush than we see now. Still a weak point for us though along with WR. I dont understand why we didnt look harder at some free agent or draftable WR's. Carlton Mitchel has shown me nothing yet. I thought BR should have layed out for that TD pass the other night too. So far Stucky has looked better than anyone and thats a problem.

The only chance I see in McCoy going bye bye is if the coaches would consider making Cribbs the 3rd String QB.

But it's not going to happen. This article could have easily have had Ratliff, Delhomme, and Wallace on the Bubble as well.. But it doesn't...that is because McCoy's name means more, that is all.. There are 4 QB looking for a position... someone is on the bubble..

Do you post on the LSU rant by any chance. Just asking, someone just posted almost this exact statement.

McCoy is not going anywhere. Its not like Ratliff is an up and coming star imo. For what its worth Id rather have Jennings than Davis. Jennings showed me a little near the end of last season and Davis has shown me nothing. He appears small and slow. Dropped a nice screen from McCoy this week.

I also think we will see alot of Hillis at RB this year. The backfield of Vickers/Hillis sure looked good the last game.

I watched the replay on NFL network last night. I am very excited about this team. The hitting and intensity on defense is amazing. EVERYBODY is hitting. We are hitting on offense too. The Oline looked great. Delhome and Wallace were both great in terrilbe weather. I loved watching Vickers plow the road for Hillis. Truly smash mouth football.

We are a whole new team this year! Love Mangini's decision to hammer it out on 4th down.
