From Rotoworld:

Long-time NFL coach and quarterback guru Sam Wyche is willing to put his reputation on the line that Tim Tebow will be an elite QB at the NFL level.

"If this guy can't be a starting quarterback in the NFL, then I was in the wrong profession for a lot of years," said Wyche, who has coached Joe Montana and Boomer Esiason among others. Though Wyche's eccentricities once earned him the nickname "Wicky Wacky," he's long been appreciated for open-mindedness and creativity. It's refreshing to hear a positive Tebow outlook from a respected offensive mind.

Interesting. With a lot of experts saying that there's nothing worth an early pick outside Clausen and Bradford, I would be all for gambling on a guy like Tebow, who could rewards the Browns a lot.

How about Joe Haden ? I keep seeing mock drafts with the Browns taking him at 7th. What do you guys think about him? I heard he's a pretty good shutdown corner. Thanks.

First of all, I was a huge fan of Derek Anderson. I never liked Quinn but I must say that the guy is improving and is starting to make his case to be the starter in 2010. I'm feeling more and more that maybe the QB position isn't a gap that the team need to fill in the short term, if BQ keeps showing improvements like that. Maybe he's the long term answer, it would be great, something to build around.

Keep up the good work BQ.

Hi everyone,

Since some people introduced themselves on this board in this thread I thought I would too. I'm from Quebec and I'm a Browns fan since 2000 when I began to follow NFL football more seriously. I read TheBrownsBoard since 3 years I think.

Back to this thread: dont't forget Jeff Garcia who played for the Calgary Stampeders!
