Did nobody in the front office watch this guy play the whole year. he was one of a few bright spots on our squad and they come up with that garbage!!! WOW!!!

I myself would agree with you. I just hope the people running the show out front have enough brains to pull the trigger and replace him if he fails next year. But as i have said many times before. It doesn't just start with him and his staff. You also have the front office positions to think about changing as well. You need good quality people in the front office as well as the coaching staff. You can have all the talented players in the world on your team but it wont mean crap if they don't have a solid front office and solid coaching staff to coach them. I do think however tomlin has been riding on the coat tails of a team cowher built. He merely stepped into the drivers seat. I think now you are seeing what happens when you hit bumps in the road and cant figure out how to correct the problem. We already know our team is going to have to improve next year but it also looks like so will the steelers. How do you go from super bowl to where they are now without really losing key players???

What cracks me up is how squeelers fans seem to only remember super bowls. Most don't have clue one in the NFL's complete history and don't even know what was before the super bowls I.E. NFL Championships. They also seem to forget until we lost our team to baltimore we were kicking their ass and ahead of them in head to head match ups. Seems this year they went from the Super Bowl to the Toilet Bowl!!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!

Jamal was an outstanding running back in his prime. He burned us many times while in Baltimore. But I think its safe to say he was on the backside of his career joining our team, could still be productive but not what he was for the Ravens. But I don't think you can put our run woes squarely on him. its a combination of things...offensive line,poor coaching,mis-communication...etc...etc... just because we ran the ball well against the squeelers doesnt mean we have a run game now. obviously s**ttsburgh is a lost team right now and not playing well at all. I guess there is some validity that tomlin was riding on what cowher built..that said I don't think we should rejoice over our running game till its consistant. While im glad we beat them id like to see our team finish whats left of the season doing things consistantly and win out!!!
