Think we will? No idea... but I've always thought we needed an OC. Old school exec? No... can't see one that would "play well" with existing FO... an FO whose structure I believe in. The way I look at it we've churned through multiple execs with "player knowledge" since '99... been there... done that. We now have a structure where scouts who show good judgement plus the ability to work with and persuade others can grow and rise in prominence. Those who don't can be culled and replaced. All quietly without fanfare leaving us ultimately with a "deep bench".

At 6'3 320 Bailey is more an interior build kinda guy. I only remember seeing him work inside this preseason... mostly at LG IIRC. Drango and S.Coleman both relieved Paz at RT in preseason.

The simple reason I'm riding the wave too is because literally nothing has worked in almost 20 years. They say don't reinvent the wheel, but the Browns weren't moving with the crap they kept recycling.

I agree that Wentz had the best overall day for QBs but I really liked how Goff kept his eyes straight downfield until it was time to pass. It showed me Goff would not stare down his receivers on a pass play. This was just during a drill and Goff already has it instilled not to stare down his receivers. Wide receivers were a huge disappointment not showing much energy or motivation. I would be happy with Wentz or Goff but Lynch has a problem with footwork that he may or may not overcome.
