my only gripe with hiring lovie is that he may not agree with how horton runs the D. I do like Hortons style. I think lovie used to run a 4-3 so it may fit...
also wasn't norv here because chud hired and worked with his son...
Shit maybe norv will be the HC.
I want a coach with a dominant personality that has passion and exudes machismo.
A guy that will mold the team in their image, someone that isn't afraid to go off script and give an answer that isn't cookie cutter and "nfl pc".
sounds like your on board with some Gruden.
jon gruden. get poeticG all hot n bothered.
Dion lewis will be back next year. he looked better than trich early on before the leg break
where did lumbergh and ghoolie ever go?
I called this while watching the game. lost alot of respect for solomon. I know he's an old bengal but damn... defending the german suplexing on the WR as a clean hit...looked alot like harrison out there.
I dont think shanahan ever had campbell... I think he started with grossman and mcnabb. campbell was apart of those akward jim zorn years. maybe even joe gibbs years
I think theres a stat that mentions the chiefs are AVERAGING 10:30 time of possession in the 4th quarter alone. that is an awfully scary stat.. that means they can run the ball and pick up first downs when it counts.
that is why they excel in close games. and that defense 3 n outs quick.
I think norv will have more of a playbook with Campbell in. I used to watch him as a redskin. he wasnt awful. just average the team around him generally lost games.
at worst I think norv can tailor fit something for campbell to work to his assets. especially after a long bye week to put a plan together.
leinart wasnt awful for the texans last year when schaub went down. I think leinart got hurt and then yates had to come in. id kick the tires on leinart at least
so why keep any of them even on the Roster? If Campbell is awful and doesn't care cut him. If weeden has no confidence and is proving awful. id cut him too. bring in people who want to start and want to win.
I apoligize if this has been brought up in a separate thread. ive been saying it since week3 when hoyer startes. Although a little less so when hoyer was winning because that's all I want.
but it has been bugging me for some time and I just want others to see what I see behind the curtain
Everyone in philly can tell you that Joe Banner is the chief bean counter.
campbell has escalators in the contract talk that would give him a large chunk of change for playing over 60% of snaps.
you put hoyer in week3 in hopes you can last till the bye week then go campbell.
we will see campbell once they are sure that he can't obtain the $$$ ...
It just bothers me Joe Banner is more concerned with bean counting than getting some wins.
There is no excuse why weeden is still playing.
qb sneak. its what I do.
any chance I can order one of those to MD?
what if with indys pick we pick a bust qb or bust rb.....
how do they explain it
lets hope indy sucks. we get a high pick and dont piss it all away.
jesus im just glad I dont have season tickets and hoping my haden jersey will still be usable next season
put all of cleveland on suicide watch
.. living in baltimore I was able to go to the ravena game and watch triches last game as a brown....
this is really depressing. im not so sad of this happened after the season but doing it now for the little value they got back stinks of giving up on the season... remember we traded our 3rd and 4th last year for next years 2nd and 3rd of colts and patriots. they are really just banking everything on 2014.....
i will be attending this game like I do every year. I hear jacoby jones will be out a few weeks. so I wonder who will be abusing buster this week.
Here is some trivia....some on recent subjects that appeared on this board. Lets see how well you have paid attention:
