Go said: Teaching the hit man to tackle properly...if they can present a uniform set of rules for tackling that are not inconsistent from the calls the actual referees make, then I'll put more faith in Goodell's self-appointed "punishment czar" Harrison did not try to purposely injure other players but that's irrelevant since the NFL (if you think about it) shows very little interest in protecting players health. They fine the hell out of guys yet no money goes to medical bills for brain damaged vets in need, then they have the nerve of an 18 game season with even greater chance of injury. You can claim that I may be bias but the fact remains that there is still a dangerous double standard in the NFL. Just because a referee misses a call doesn't mean that an infraction was not committed. In the case of the illegal hits that Harrison committed, the fact that no penalties were called doesn't make them any less illegal. It is the league that determines the legality or illegality of any action.

There'd be no way id send the #6 overall pick to San diego for him, maybe if they swapped first rounders we could talk...But i like Sidney Rice alot and wouldnt mind him as a brown at all or even Steve Breaston for that matter

@junkyard-dawg said:14 years in the NFL with a Doctor shipping growth hormone to team facilities and it took bullshit officiating for him to "win", that's how. The guy is Marty Schottenheimer with a steroid dealer and bought off referees. No thanks, if that's what this fanbase wants lets just go kiss Marty's ass and beg him to come back. Yep, and Pitt fan did nothing but bitch about the guy for years.

@shepwrite said:It really helps Colt that the Browns are going to the WCO. Why? Because Mallett is a Big Ben clone, or maybe Flacco, not a WCO type. McCoy seems born for it. You watch the Sugar Bowl? Mallet is a DA clone. Immobile, Locks on receivers, Slow release, didn't go through progressions or look off DBs. Don't spooge yourself about his height and RPMs. Nice misread on the zone blitz that cost Arkansas the game. ESPN has him (justifiably) the the 30s range assuming he come out.

@hoorta said:Hypothetically, the Browns have to win out to make the playoffs. I'll bet you can get 200-1 or better odds on that one in Vegas. Right, as mentioned elsewhere this might be different if the played in the AFC West or NFC West, but I think the Ravens and Steelers are probably going to be in this for the long haul which would leave only a 6th WC spot to claim, and right now that belongs to that 6-2 team whom the Browns spanked on Sunday. But....they are still 6-2. The one good thing is that one of them, the Steelers or Pats are going down this week. Let's do the Pats a favor and spank the Jets the way we did them.
