I have faith that he'll be solid, and nothing more. Looks like Denver's expecting more though.

Who has faith in quinn? -
Ravens vs. SteelersI hate the Steelers more because most of their fans are ridiculous
-
Do any of you care about DA/Quinn?I hope Anderson plays well. He's no franchise but he has mad potential. A change of scenery with new and better options will help him greatly.

Steelers stay in Super Bowl HuntIt's an inferiority complex. They are so inferior they have to go to other teams boards to try to prove their team's (this year, anyway) worth, which for some odd reason they connect to their own self worth.
That's pretty low worth you're talking about. I just thought there was nothing better to do in pittsburgh during the offseason than roam the internet being an ass

Steelers stay in Super Bowl HuntWow they're here too? I think theres more Steelers trolls in the world than there are Steelers fans to be honest.

Who is the most overrated player in the NFL?Rorbotron said:
Hines Ward is overrated?
It's okay to hate the guy, but lets not be dumb. Elaborate on how he's overrated, I'd love to hear it from you and anyone else claiming he is....Because many fans still consider him one of the best WR in the league, hands down. The guy was a great player for a long time but he's lost a step and no longer belongs with the elite. He plays his role with Pittsburgh well, can still pull in a hell of a catch once in a while, and is still a hell of a blocker, possibly still the best blocking receiver in the NFL, but an elite receiver overall? No more. I'm aware I could have put other players on my list, but maybe the fact that he still resorts to blindsiding rookies pushed me to toss him up there. Let's not be dumb and get upset over messageboard opinions.

Seattle Releases S Deon GrantOh, I didn't mean that we'd sign this guy and NOT draft a DB. I just think we need that kind of an overhaul. If you had Deon Grant alongside Berry, he could help him learn the NFL game.
Oh I got you. That's a plan as long as Grant doesn't want too much money. I'd say sign him if they don't draft Berry, which could very well happen cause they needa WR and OL just as bad.
-
Seattle Releases S Deon GrantI'd rather draft Eric Berry.
-
What new jersey will you be purchasing?Ben Watson if he earns it, and undoubtedly will.
-
Cleveland Browns re-sign two restricted free agentsI was hoping it would be Vickers and Harrison but good all the same.
-
Cleveland Browns vs. Jake DelhommeMan, you all are brain dead if you think Holmgren is just going to sit back and let Mangini take total controll of this team. This is Holmgrens name we are talking about here. He may not be on the side lines but you better believe he will be that voice in Mangini's head. he is the boss...PERIOD!
True, a big reason they brought Holm in was to speak the loudest. Mangini had complete control for the first three quarters of last season, and you know the result. Though Holm is the main man, theres at least a real system checks and balances between the coach, gm, and president now.

Browns Sign WatsonThis guys more than solid, and he could be around for a while. He's got miles to give, he played his entire career in NE and they don't go to TE very often, plus he's only 29. Great pickup.
-
Both of our QB's SUCKI wouldn't look down on the new QB situation at all. Del had a bad season and Wallace is no more than a solid backup, but Del was signed at the norm and they got Wallace for a draft pick. How much were Brady and DA?

Who is the most overrated player in the NFL?Vince Young
Carson Palmer
Hines Ward
Jay Cutler
Terrel Owens

People are so negative about the quaterbacks we have. It's true Del wasn't terrific last season but some guys just need a change of scenery to get it back. Even if he doesn't play like his old self, he'll be more productive than Brady or DA. Him and Wallace will be around for just a few years at the most while the Browns search for a franchise guy, and I'M ****ING HOPING that guy will be drafted this year.
-
Peyton HillisNo doubt Hillis will get his share of starts at RB because Harrison doesn't have the bulk to all year. But Hillis' role won't truly be determined until Vickers is taken care of. If he leaves Hillis will most likely start at FB.

New Beginning ... Browns fans reuniteCheers to no more musical quarterbacks!!

What you think will happen at WRAt this point they've got Stuckey, who gets the job done, but isn't our guy. That leaves Jake Allen, Syndric Steptoe, MoMass, Brian Robiskie and Cribbs. Cribbs was there last year because they had no other effective choice, it's not his natural position, and you can bet they won't play him there as much this year. I say cut Allen and Rob, TRY and trade Stuck or Step, have one stick around because both could be effective backups and draft a couple more.
MoMass will most likely start..my guess is they'll bring in another starting vet who somewhat knows the westcoast offense to help it translate smoothly to the new guys like they're doing at QB. No doubt they'll draft a couple, but what do you guys think?
-
WIMBLEY TO OAKLANDCouldn't believe this...not as bad as some moves in the past, but I didn't think we'd see this kind of thing with Holmgren around...hope you've still got it man.

BRADY QUINN TRADEDAs much as I didn't want Quinn to go, there was really no place for him anymore. Holmgren's running a new offense this year, and if he doesn't think you're "it", you're gone. Browns need a solid starter AND backup familiar with the westcoast style. Delhomme and Wallace (my guess is Ratliff will be cut) will be around for a few years at most while the QB the Browns draft this year is being acclimated with the new system. It also gives a few year's insurance in case the QB we draft isn't our guy. It's looking like this year and next is built so the young guys can adjust to west coast play AND be competitive in the AFCN with results. I still think Quinn can be effective if he drops the weights and watches more film.
