Well said. We had a winnable game against Balt when our bell cow running back,who had 5 carries for 59 yards at the time, never carried the ball again. I still think about how hard was Hue trying to win. Let me rookie QB throw 37 times and not use my RB's to take some of pressure off of him. Do we draft Barkley and only let him carry the rock 5 times? It was apparent Crow was leaving last season.Why not run the tires off him? We may not have had to suffer a 0-16 season. I am not quite there yet, but I am thinking we may need a coaching change. RB's and QB's win you games.DEFENSE wins championsips! Just my 2 cents. Thank you London Dawg!

Lets just put the QBOF debate away for this year. Everyone agrees that next next presents a better,more plentiful crop of NFL prospects.Cousins,McCarron, and Garoppolo are NFL ready. We can just buy one of those three. The class of college QB's next year exceed this years class. Last year we led 5 games at the half.We trailed 3 more by 6 points or less.We need defense people.Lots of defense. The only offensive offensive player I would take in the first 2 rounds is O.J.Howard. Lets see what we have in Kessler and Osweiller. We finished 30th or worse in the top 4 defensive catagories. We didn't lose last year because of our offense,it was our defense.Defense,defense,and more defense is how I would go. Lets build the team and see what we have that needs fixed.Do not mortgage our assets for a maybe.Next year we can afford to buy a couple of these guys and see who works out.If we need to.
And with Cousins coming to Cleveland, does this bury Pryor's chance at a big payday? I wonder if they would trade TP for a 3rd this year?
I wouldn't trade these picks for Elway,Manning, or Elway. 8 in the first 2 rounds? We could do so serious damage at this point.
I say no to trading for Jimmy G. this year. Kessler has more game experience than JG. We can always just buy him next year and the save the picks. I am not convinced that he is the savior that everyone else believes.
We just bought a 2018 2nd round pick for $$16mil! Brilliant!! Keep him for 1 year and see if Hue can turn him around. Plus get to see Kessler for 1 more year of growth with our new,improved OL.
I'm looking at positions that we can just buy,vs drafting.Use our draft picks for skill positions and defense. I don't want to spend all of our cap money in 1 year.Center is key for us. Experience is key at this spot.If we signed 2 FA's on the OL, I wouldn't be disappointed.
3-4 FA's at most this year,would be a success.
The player we do focus on in FA is center. With that said,J.C. Tretter is who we need to focus on. We can outbid everyone,if we can convince him to come to Cleveland. What are your thoughts. Still need to replace Mack.
