Redskins Have Made A Deal?IF this is true, WHO CARES? Look at what they had to give up to get him. If we gave all that up, our franchise would be doomed. I know things are bad now, but that would have effectively killed the Browns for good. There is no guarantee that RG3 will pan out. Don't worry, there will be another "can't miss QB" There always is.
Couldn;t have said it better myself. rumor on espn is we didn;t want to add the 2nd rounder either way 3 1st rd. picks for hope is ridiculous... Any one who thinks that would be wise even if he does pan out has been playing too much madden...THANK YOU REDSKINS!

Mario WilliamsHe has high awareness and play recognition as
a DE but has not made the transition to the OLB. He struggles in zone coverage and is not in a
position to take full advantage of his skills.
His instincts are good with enough moves both power and finesse to be
very effective.
He will be highly sought after as a free agent and get a
nice payday. He is not what the Browns
will go after but exactly what they need.
Very seldom can you get a first overall pick that has been successful as
a free agent. The Browns should but probably won't get this one.
I would not put it past them to do so - pending him resigning with the texans- after all wasn't it green bay with holmgren as coach that brought in reggie white after 9 seasons with the eagles..... another possible option michael bush is also a free agent assuming they let hillis go does he become viable?

#4 #22Then we would really be able to evaluate colt as well... If he couldn't succeed with those receivers pull the plug
-
#4 #22My new interesting theory on the picks kind of a lion's move....seems to be a lot of nay sayers for richardson at the 4th interesting thought what about blackmon 4th and wright 22nd? gives us 2 good receivers on the outsides with little and blackmon and wright fills the slot let's cribbs focus on what he does best special teams and would make him a match-up issue with 4 WR sets

Why We Need A QbA good QB makes those around him plamakers.
Hines Ward- 3rd round pick.
Emmanuel Sanders-3rd round pick.
Mike Wallace- 3rd round pick.
Antonio Brown- 6th round pick.
Ben Roethlisberger- 1st round pick
James Jones- 3rd round pick.
Donald Driver-7th round pick
Jordy Nelson- 2nd round pick
Randall Cobb- 2nd round pick
Aaron Rodgers- 1st round pick
Pierre Garcon- 6th round pick
Reggie Wayne- 1st round pick
Austin Collie- 4th round pick
Anthony Gonzalez- 1st round pick. (hurts my argument a tad, but I'm presenting all the facts)
Peyton Manning- 1st round pick
And then there's the Patriots, with no 1st round picks at QB or WR. What they do have, however, is two first round and two second round Offensive Linemen. (Thats for you, Ghoolie)
I like the thought that went into this however a first round QB does not a winning team make... for every qb taken in the first round that succeeds there are three that fail.... How good were the rams this year? And how much of the 49ers success can be put in alex smith's hands? David carr / ryan leaf / matt leinart / jason campbell / kyle boller / jamarcus russell...the list goes on and on just because someone takes a qb in the first round doesn;t guarantee their greatness one more year use this year to find the playmakers not the QB...

#4 #22I don;t post a lot but let's face it not much to post about and everyone is typically starting a rant or qb thread.... I think our ideal expectations from these picks become trent richardson and kendall wright i know everyone wants to throw in the towel on colt but before we do it i think we honestly need to give the guys some tools in order to prove himself we all keep talking about continuity and needing to not start over every year but lest we forget that's what you're asking for again this year with a new unproven rookie quarterback... let's also not forget that we all thought he was a saint last year when he came in last year beat the pats and saints and played the steelers tough i'm not saying he is a savior or the next coming .... worst case scenario we draft 2 good players to compliment our offense and worst case scenario if colt isn;t our guy then we can get a guy next year. lets also not forget that some elite qbs didn;t have too great of season to begin their careers either .... ex: drew brees first full season 17 tds 16 picks in 60.8 percent completion . ... second 11 tds 15 ints 57.6 completion....third full season lights the fire 27 tds 7 ints ...i'm not saying colt is the next drew brees but he does have some tools and some resilience and he's a fighter and has heart lets give him the nod one more season before pulling the plug i think hillis is most likely gone which would require richardson pick at 4 hardesty and jackson both have consistent injury problems and wright would provide a welker-esque type receiver for colt and with little turning it on at the end of the season i think it could turn out to be a pretty good crew second round we use for lb or line help and then i think the rest is up for debate.... Other option possibly reddick at the number 22 with alshon jeffery or wright (if still available) in the second round

Woof Woofat 3-0 i shant be ignored yet...lol
-
Caption Contest.throw the flag ref there's 12 men on the field

A Lb Possibility?i think he's worth a flyer after he clears waivers. Sometimes players just need a fresh start. Granted he's still new to be needing a fresh start think he could be worth checking out though. worst case scenario.....we cut him too. nothing ventured nothing gained.

If Belichik hires Kosar, then I agree with Y'all. Belichik is an asshole.Sorry, he ain't getting hired by the Pats.

Any gamers out there?Hillis-iz-Boss said:
I don't think so. When you are in the off-season and you need a head coach, most of the time that just means that his contract is up and you can resign him and if you want him to resign, you just find your coach in the current NFL coaches section and you can find him, click on him, and then fire him. Also in the game I don't know why you would want Mangini coaching for you. You of the things that the game messes up horribly is they don't let coaches advance/get worse depending on how their team is performing. This means that Mangini is stuck with no positive effects to the team and I normally drop him in the second year when Jeff Fisher becomes available because Fisher gives a plus 1 for all players in 3 categories.
Also on a side note, if you guys wanna know how to get a player cheap, you need to give every player that you draft that is only getting like a 200K or less bonus a 7 year contract. In the game guys can't hold out to get a contract extension so they play for what their contract says and the late round plays don't ask for much of a bonus/no bonus at all, so you can sign them, look at them and if they are good you have a good player playing for league minimum for 7 years and if he's not you can cut him for little to no salary cap penalty to you.
Thats what i did as far as the 7 year deals....but after 2 seasons my qb stopped playing so i upped his contract thinking it was a holdout situation again he didn't play so i traded him for draft picks and decided hey what if my other guys aren't playing....sure enough an 85 ranked receiver an 85 ranked RT and a 95 DT had not compiled any stats in 2 to 3 seasons....i don;t know if it has anything to do with me making it harder on myself by fantasy drafting literally the worst team you can draft (i fantasy draft the worst player at every position....i like building the team from the ground up) i think i may be the only person in the world who does this. I found another link concerning the same thing only to find out it was no longer a current link.

Any gamers out there?try a madden board buddy
i had tried finding one before posting here i know there's people in here for every topic just wasn;t sure which madden board was worth looking at...an no they were'nt hurt they just didn't play and they were #one on the depth chart all season...i just didn't know if there were holdouts any more i even tried boosting salaries changing positions and the like with now resolve just kinda of a weird issue
-
Any gamers out there?i started a madden franchise and notice 2 or 3 seasons in that some of my 85 - 95 rated players who are #1 on the depth chart aren't playing or accumulating any stats.Anyone have any information on this?

Looking for some ticketsLooking for 4 tickets to the Browns Bengals game in cleveland any one got some up for grabs?
-
LT Released by Chargersthe thing is he'd never come to the browns. He's going to want to go to a super bowl contending team next season. My two best bets are the patriots or the saints, with the packers being a wild card in there.
I'd be really surprised if he ended up with the patriots... i think he despises them too much no matter what money they'd offer
