Guys (the Gipper and Slowburn),
I think you should continue that conversation at the tailgate after the 3L bottle of rhum we bring each year will be opened. I am sure you will then find a classy way to agree to disagree.

Hey guys,
Some of you may remember me. My name is Dominic and my friends and I have been attending your tailgate for the last three years. Once again this year, we will drive 12 hours from Quebec, Canada to attend the home opener and try to preserve our perfect record (Win against Pats in '10, Win against Dolphins in '11, Win against Bengals in '12) in Cleveland.
This year, our party has growns once again and we will be 7 guys attending the tailgate. As in previous years, you can notably expect (i) a 3L bottle of rhum that will be shared at the tailgate, (ii) the 4th edition of the "Cornhole" Quebec Cup against Todd and Mike (Quebec leads the serie 2-1) and (iii) a bilingual Canadian national anthem at some point in the tailgate.
We had a blast with all of you guys in previous years and hope that most of you are going to be able to make it to the tailgate this Sunday. We can't wait for the weekend.
Cheers,
Dom
Hello Ballpeen, Gipper and Browns 57,
No matter how things changed in respect of the tailgate, as long as the same good old guys tailgate in the same good old lot, we want to remain a part of it. See you all next week.
Cheers,
Dom
PS: Ballpeen, keep the "Jacques" Daniel ready!
Sorry, should read "The October 14 Pussycats SmashDown". Better be no mistake in the event name since it is going to be reproduced in all high school history books.
Hello everybody,
Some of you may remember me: I am a member of the four pack french Canadians who attended your tailgate in 2010 (W 34-14 vs NE) and in 2011 (W 17-16 vs MIA). We will be back in 2 weeks, looking to improve our perfect record in Cleveland.
This year, we are in mini-van mode. We will be 6 guys leaving Quebec city, Canada on Friday October 12 and will drive more than 12 hours to Cleveland in order to assist to what will be recalled as "The October 12 Pussycats SmashDown". If you guys are still holding those tailgates, we would be glad to join in once again.
DISCLAIMER: A bilingual Canadian national anthem could be sing at some point of the tailgate. 3L alcohol bottles could, for unknown reasons, find their way to the tailgate. There could be some competitive Corn Hole games played with important wagers. There could be some french insult proclaimed against Chad Ochocinco (we know he no longer plays there, but is spirit will always be with the Bengals).
We are looking forward to meet again with you guys before what will be our first Ohio battle. Next year, we should be ready for the Steelers.
Cheers,
Dom

Hello everybody,
We are 4 guys from Quebec, Canada (designated as the "Dominic bunch" in the first post of the thread). 4 French speakers, but we all speak decent English, do not worry. Big football fans. No actually, big NFL fans (Canadian Football League is really not that cool, unless you think that one point should be awarded to a team missing a Field Goal).
It will be our second time in Cleveland. Last year, we had an awesome time at the tailgate before one of the greatest game of the year: the one the Browns kicked the ass of Brady Gaga and his bunch. We are back for more. Now, we know the Browns' players better, the "here we go brownies here we go" chant, the classics from Westside Steve (who provided us with 2 of his cds last year), the game "throw the bag in the hole" (I always forget the name)... and the list of reasons why this year's tailgate will be even better than last year's goes on and on.
We are really looking forward this Sunday to tailgate again with you guys.
See you on Sunday!
Dominic
Incredible game. Wallace did good also even if 1 INT and no TD. I was not sure about the west coast offence being a good thing for the Browns. I feel reassured now and am looking forward to watch regular season action.
Just put a ginormous mirror on one of the side of the field: that way, Brady will try to impress everybody by trying to be the first qb to complete a pass to himself.
GO Browns!
Hey Guys,
I had already contacted Stan previously a couple of weeks ago. We are four guys from Quebec, Canada who will be attending our first NFL game. We though that CLE would be the perfect destination to feel the real NFL atmosphere. Like I told Stan, to go to NYC or Boston would have saved us a couple hundreds km of driving. However, we felt that a trip to CLE would provide us with a more "authentic" football experience.
Our mother tongue is French but do not worry, we are all able to discuss any kind of topic in English.
We were all very excited when we found your website/board. Since we will be driving more than 12 hours on Saturday, we would not have been able to organize for the tailgate all by ourselves. It is very nice of you to open your party to all foreigners. We can assure you that we will bring as much energy and intensity to it as we can.
We are all looking forward to meet you and to tail-gate with you.
Dominic
PS: After the crazy win against NO, a win against the pop star (Brady Gaga, a.k.a. the guy who is more suited to do tv commercials than to throw a ball) and his bunch seems more likely than ever. GO BROWNS!
PPS: +4 for the tail-gate count
