No problem man.

Check out the tailgate section of the site...this group welcomes other teams fans to stop in and enjoy a little tailgate action in a friendly environment.

Just remember on all the bars that they can get crowded...and noon is when many games kick-off.

nice. how about sunday before the game? we are going to the game, but not sure what the tailgate situation is like -- and we wont have a car to park anywhere.

oh, well in that case i retract my previous post. good day to your sir

haha. no worries! thanks anyways

you could always just pony up the $500 for a $40 ticket and drive down to osu and watch the game in person. that's what a smart man would do.

the osu game isnt the one i was talking about watching. i mean, i will watch it -- cause hopefully its a good game. but by that time we will probably be winding down the party in preparation for sunday.

second ... we wont have a car. and the cheapest tickets on stubhub are $212

I am sure you can always find somewhere cheaper, but when you come in from out of town, saving $6 on the total tab usually isn't a primary concern.

yeah ... a few bucks isnt a big deal. the main thing is that its a good place to watch games. we will be going somewhere at noon -- the main game we want to watch is iowa/iowa state. we are vikings fans (i know, sorry) flying in for the game. and two of us graduated from iowa, and the other from ISU.

thank you everyone for your help, i appreciate it!

Was at Bob Golic's on West 6th for the first time before the Titans game, I liked that place.

Not sure what it's like on Saturdays though.

yeah, i am thinking that is one of the places we will check out

Winking Lizard.....BIG beer selection..hundreds....TVs everywhere, and great wings(as well as all other pub fare).

yeah, i saw their website. looked like a cool spot. thanks!

hi all

im going to be in town this weekend for the game, and i dont know much about the downtown cleveland area. any recommendations on places to watch the college games on saturday? we need to find a good spot to drink/eat all day and watch some football.

we are staying downtown (st claire and 9th) and wont have a car, so it has to be within walking distance (or a short cab ride)

thanks in advance for your suggestions!!

hi folks -- i ended up with three extra tickets for the season opener. i wont be in the cleveland area till the weekend of the game, so i put them on ebay. auction ends tomorrow.

currently they are at $80 a ticket. right now the cheapest tickets in this section are $140 on stubhub after all those fees and taxes.

let me know if you have any questions

I don't know how high/low they sell there, but I would check stubhub.com

yeah ... thats what i was referring to. ebay and stubhub prices are all about 2x-3x face value right now

Ticket Prices are worth whatever everyone is willing to give for them. That being said it is the first game of the season so they are going to be overpriced. If you dont wanna fork over as much wait until 2 or 3 games into the season and you will save alot of dough. But its whatever your willing to pay for the seats offered.

right. i am aware that an object is worth what someone is willing to pay.

let me be more specific: i am wanting to go to the game against the vikings, but looking online it seems that tickets are priced very high and dont seem to be moving off the shelves very quickly. i was just gathering opinions from people who sometimes scalp browns tix -- and wondering if they thought it might be good to wait till closer to gameday.

thanks!

hey guys -- im new to the area, and wanted to go to the first game against the vikings. in looking online ive noticed ticket prices are pretty high -- is this normal? will they come down at all?

thanks in advance!!
