Hoyer was successful, until a certain point in the season. What changed? Josh Gordon came back. That is what changed. Shannihans play calling and Hoyer's reads changed when Gordon came back. He is the reason for Hoyer's failure. Gordon tokes up again and never touches the field, Hoyer is still a Brown.

Is this true? -
Pryor is back Baby! What are the odds TP catches a TD pass before Bowe?

The hits just keep on comingPlease, anyone, disprove this story. Apparently the NFL is "looking into" Haden's inactive status.
"As is customary in these instances, we have checked in with the club on this to provide an explanation", a league spokesman told Pro Football Talk. "We are looking into it."
Whether we think Joe could or should have played through his rib/finger injuries, he was ruled inactive. What is there to question?
Oh and welcome back Farmer, your hands are clean on this one. -
Can we all agree now that this defense needs tore the fuck up?We see the same damn thing every week! Both our offense and defense will be doing something that works and then for no forseeable reason we change our approach...why? This week the offense wasn't great in the first half and turned it around, fine. The defense actually looked good most of the first half. Stopping the run, getting pressure to the qb...so frustrating

Did anyone else notice this yesterday?Listening to 92.3 The Fan this morning, the same thing was noticed about Haden. The point was made that we are seeing 3 second blurs of the sideline interaction during an entire football game. I wouldn't look too much into it either.

Pick your QBThanks Tour. Sorry guys I'll try harder next time. And look at the other topics prior to the new one. We all know the Browns give us plenty to talk about

Pick your QBNow, don't get me wrong. I am all on board for seeing what we have in our 1st round pick. But I also want to win some football games.
Listening to all these fans boasting and chanting for Johnny to be put on the field is driving me crazy! I must not have been watching the same game in week 2 as everyone else. I keep hearing "played a great game" "he did really good" "he showed improvement". I only agree with one of those.
For all those that are up his A$$, look at the stats really quick.
Manziel week 2 - 8/15 172 yds 2 TDs
McCown week 3 - 28/49 341 yds 2 TDs 1 Int
Other than the INT it looks pretty much the same to me right? A lot more passing attempts..hmm another stat.
week 2 combined rush yds 116...not bad
week 3 combined rush yds 39...yeah that's right
Bottom line, Manziel didn't play a good game, the entire team played a good enough game to win.
And discuss...
