Have you seen the Patriots in the last few years?? They essentially run a spread pass-oriented offense. I think Bradford will be just fine.

You have to look at quarterbacks and project how their skill set translates into the NFL. The fact remains that Bradford has ideal height, weight (after bulking up this offseason), incredibly smart (highest Wonderlic of the QB's this year), has a big enough arm to make every NFL throw, and is very very accurate.

Going by the draft value chart its going to take our earliest 3rd round selection to trade with the Skins. I am all for it, because I really don't see any value, with our needs, there for us at 7 if Berry is off the board

This actually significantly hurts our chances for Berry, but not for the reason most of you all think. The Skins will now draft Okung meaning he wont be there for KC to draft. If Pioli and the Chiefs don't reach to grab the second rated LT (whoever that may be on their board) then they would take Berry. The same holds true for Seattle, who would have to take the 3 rated LT

Bradford/Clausen - given Holmgren's comments I dont think that Clausen is the pick, however, if Bradford doesnt go to the Rams you better believe we will jump the Skins to grab Bradford

Trade Back Possibilities:

Dez Bryant - given character concerns I dont think he fits with ManGenius, but it is a position of need

Earl Thomas- 2nd best safety in the draft

Mike Iupati- We would have to do a couple of trades (similar to last year) to make this a good value pick

Most impressively, however, was the fact that both Jermaine Gresham (Oklahoma TE) and scouts said that Bradford was throwing with more power than before the injury.

Bradford is a can't miss QB that possess a great football IQ, pinpoint accuracy, and an arm that can make all the throws. Whoever lands him will be very happy for years to come.

While we are one the subject. This is how I see the top of the draft playing out.

1. St Louis: Bradford

2. Detroit: Okung

The Lions have already done tremendous work to bolster their d-line this off season. Word coming out of their front office indicates that they are targeting a LT to protect Stafford

3. Tampa Bay: Suh

They need DT help, and Suh is the best of the two

4. Washington: Clausen

There are only two options I see here. QB or LT. They will not reach that high for a LT and will decide to take Clausen. Dont be surprised to see a trade here.

5. Kansas City Trade

Both Berry and McCoy are still available at the 5 spot. Somebody will give the Chiefs a heck of a deal to move up and select their guy. I would love for the Browns to trade up 2 spots to grab Berry here. Remember that Scott Pioli the GM for KC comes from the Patriots system. They LOVE to trade down and accumulate picks.

After KC trades its unknown from there on out. If Cleveland is not part of the KC trade expect us to still take Haden despite the slower combine time.

Points to consider

1. Why would the Rams make Quinn their starter when he cant even keep the job here. Before you call me a BQ hater, stop. Because as my brother likes to say, "I have a man crush on Brady." I think he hasnt deserved a fair shot, but he wont be given the starting job by whoever trades for him. To think so, is ridiculous.

2. About Bradford's shoulder. He had a grade 3 shoulder seperation. The injury is not terribly serious. Bradford merely returned too soon hoping to play against arch-rival Texas. He has already been checked out at the combine with doctors stating his shoulder "checked out really well." The shoulder is not an issue

3. Why would St. Louis draft Suh or McCoy. They have spent recent 1st round picks on Chris Long (2008) and Adam Carricker (2007). The Rams won't spend another top pick on DL. That is too much money spent on one area without allowing your other picks time to develop.

The Rams will select Sam Bradford because they HAVE to have a quarterback who can give this team a chance to succeed.

Bradford will be the choice for the Rams

Why resign a guy who may never play football again??????? Let him walk and either make him prove he is healthy enough to play long-term, go after a S in FA/ Draft

Jerious Norwood is not the type of back that we need to be going after in FA. We need a bigger back that will compliment Harrison not more of the same. Look at someone like Lendale White (provided he keeps his weight down like he did last offseason)

Trading that many picks.

We need playmakers. That is what's wrong with this team. We have no one on either side of the ball who can make big plays to change the game.

Terrance Cody

Why trade away Rogers, to draft Cody? Rogers is being made expendable by Rubin's play. However, Rogers is still useful to us because he can slide to DE. Drafting Cody would leave us with two NT's and no DE's. Cody is also a lazy pile of fat. We need a playmaker early in the draft not a tub of lard.

Golden Tate

Will not make it to pick 38. So stop dreaming. Jordan Shipley is more of a WR to target in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Yes, a two point stance rule would help the defense on run plays. However, the league is becoming a pass first league. If the league does initiate this policy, expect it to help offenses more than prevent concussions. With this rule, d-lineman will be playing higher giving an advantage to the bigger offensive lineman who usually dont have leverage at the point of attack.

There is no way Matt Roth is an "A" by any standard of measure. Did he fill in and play well, yes. Is he an A level player, NO.

This is why we MUST draft Renaldo McClain if we can't land Berry. He is a super intelligent player who was the quarterback for the Alabama defense last year.

I vote that we cut him - to save us from paying the $1 million dollar roster bonus, but try to bring him back at or near the veteran's minimum. Let's face it, we are very weak at WR and if he can give us anything it will be worth it. Yes, his one year was a bust, but sign him to a small one year deal and see where it goes. Its worth a shot.

FA: Stay away from big ticket free agents unless there is someone young and worthy. For ex. (if Dallas lets Miles Austin walk). I would also be intrigued by Merriman after a good evaluation of his health and if his salary demands arent out of this world. He will be back in form next season.

Resign: Must resign Jackson, Cribbs, Harrison, Vickers

Trade Away: Derek Anderson (probably get a 6th or 7th for him); Corey Williams (now a non-starter)
