I will reserve an "A" for a stellar performance where he throws for >250 and a TD or two.
However, he played GREAT today. Did exactly everything asked of him.
After countless attempts, we may finally have our franchise QB.
Now let's go get hims some weapons to throw to
If you are correct, you better hope we draft Alshon Jeffrey in the draft. Best WR for sure.
Alshon is only a true Sophomore, so he won't be eligible to come out this year.
However, another pair of SEC'ers could be available.
Both A.J. Green and Julio Jones have the ability to be top flight WR's at the next level. Both are projected early 1st round, with A.J. probably going within the first 5 spots.
I didnt want Colt to see the field this entire season. I actually doubted if he had the arm strength to succeed in this league anyway, and would have been ok if we drafted a QB in the first round.
HOWEVER, Colt has impressed me today.
We aren't making the playoffs this season, so why not give him a chance.
Then we can go out and get him A.J. Green or Julio Jones in the draft this year.
